Good video Sal. I heard about this from a couple of presenters at Shutterfest 23. Needless to say, it peaked my interest. I downloaded it, tried it, loved it. I was amazed at how good and fast it worked. I already purchased it. Turbo charged feels like an understatement. More like a rocket booster for workflow. Better workflow with Lightroom and Photoshop a must for better flexability. Keep up the work on videos, loving the work.
This is just amazing! Yea going from several hours down to minutes, I sure would pay 7 cents per photo, this is a no brainer. I hoping to see what the tool would do with your average person who is not a super model. Like to see skin cleanup and etc.. Thanks for finding this.

It looked and sounded great, until I went to their website and saw that their business model is to charge BY IMAGE. As a wedding and portrait photographer who shoots hundreds (sometimes thousands) of images it just is not going to be affordable.

I dont disagree with you... i think you need to work it into your workflow... i would never use this for a 2000 image job. it doesnt make sense in my opinion. you would use this for those special images. I like to show about 10-20 per wedding and at 6c per image... the numbers work incredibly well. almost a no brainer in my opinion. as for the workflow... it doesnt support the workflow the way lightroom does... my hope is in the future they integrate the tools because as it stands now... to drive 2000 images through with color correction, exporting to different platforms - ie proofting, social media, print, its not there. however, for beauty work... body shaping... it's one of the best tools ive laid my hands on. imo.
Exactly, it’s what made me pass on it. I’m okay with the subscription format every company ran to albeit not overly happy but I can deal with that. However, I’m not paying per credit. Portrait Pro can do most of these batch edits, I can then tweak anything else I want in capture one, Lightroom or photoshop. I can do the batch editing in other programs as well.
and let alone the fact that they charge by image.. those credits are also only valid for a year.. meaning if you pay for 1200 credits, and use 500.. you're SOL and have to buy more credits once your year is up and those original credits have expired.. absolutely stupid pricing structure.
,,,been working with a copy and generally we are very impressed with its development while being such a new product. One feature we like that will speed its further refinement and new features is the ability to send feedback to the mothership from inside the program. For example, our subject had closed eyes in one frame of a batch retouch where we had applied longer eyelashes - Evoto also applied longer eyelashes OVER the CLOSED eyelids; this was an easy fix PS.

I tried it and love it but I was frustrated that when cleaning acne from teenagers’ faces, it was wiping out all the beautiful freckles. And the option of adding freckles was not suitable for male faces as it comes with a strong makeup 🤦♀️ what a mess!
I had the same issue but there is a way to mask them back in.

Pretty cool... a great tool in the hands of an artist. A wack tool in the hands of a hack. For me, I worry that it will lead me to tweak things that actually need no tweaking... just because you can. I would definitely consider something like this just for the ability to sync edits across an entire shoot or shoot story.
Also, a shame the credits expire after a year but I get that this is to maximize profits. It will lead folks to go for the lesser deals to avoid unused credits at year end.

23:20 , when shaping waist , the window frame bend, I thought this is a little bug can tell model 's body get reshape .
I use Portrait Pro which is very similar. I will batch in LR then send them straight to PP. From there, I will edit in PS if needed. It saves so much time especially with beauty portraits and pageant headshots.
Maybe you can try Evoto's "sync" function, 30 credits free trial, why not?
Portrait Pro was very good, but that was 3-4 years ago. Many others have surpassed it now.
Portrait Pro does the same thing, and has been for years.
Would be perfect to make your own color of background like colour palette in Photoshop.
Sal: I have Evoto and until yesterday, all was good. Love it. However, yesterday when exporting a photo a watermark was applied to the export. I've contacted Evoto support and yet to receive a reply. I was wondering if you knew why all of a sudden the Evoto watermark was being applied to my images.

If the hardest part is recognising the face Portrait pro has been doing it for decades. The term AI is being heavily misused.

This Chinese AI software company is doing good work. I won't install it in my computer though, because I just can't trust that the software won't do something bad at some point in the future. So sad. :(
So this is the AI flavor today, why should we sign up today , when there are other AI prograns to choose from? What is going to be better and cheaper tomorrow.

Is this a web based product or do I have to load an AI program on my workstation? The second option will NEVER happen!
As a software developer myself - I will warn everyone - you have no clue what the .exe you install is capable of. Sure, it may deliver the functionality you expected, but it can also program totally unrelated data collection/transmission without you ever knowing. I can even transmit data when you think the device is turned off.
In all fairness, the mischief I have described has been prevalent way before AI. But now an AI program can decide for itself (on your computer) how to perform and even trigger bad behavior from your laptop. Data collection is old news. Any smart AI developer can easily program a drop of an additional AI .exe that would be the driver for whatever AI instructions might be transmitted to your device.
Bottom line - as soon as you install ANY AI products - you are totally on your own. Yup, I'm being somewhat paranoid, but based on what I know I would hate for my laptop to be traced back to a nuclear missile launch.

I honestly dont see where this would save time. Ive built my own presets and can edit these myself, faster in PS. Great philosophy in editing but too much hunting. Its really not doing anything that PS doesnt already bring to the table.
The “sync” function can save lots of time, Sai didn't show it but you can see Vanessa's video, it is our main function.
The background removal is a bit more accurate here than in photoshop.
