  • Hey ♡
Miso soup is an integral part of everyday Japanese cuisine. Being in Japan, I happen to eat miso soup three times a day: at my grandparents' house, it's mandatory for breakfast (along with a bowl of rice, fish and salad), as part of the lunch set and for dinner.
Miso soup has many variations: can add many additives to it, such as yams. pumpkin, onions, mushrooms, sprouts, etc....
Today I will show you such the simplest and also the most common version: with tofu and wakame ♡ treat it as a base and throw in your favorite additives ♡.
    ingredients for about 4 bowls:
    1 liter of filtered water
20 g katsuobushi (bonito fish flakes)
    A piece of kombu (about 8 x 8cm)
    3/4 tsp miso paste
    a cube of tofu
    spring onion
three tablespoons of dried wakame seaweed
    tasty ♡
