- Available to all FINAL FANTASY XV players as a free update, the event introduces a new in-game quest titled “Adventurer from Another World,” wherein Noctis embarks on a journey with the mysterious Miqo’te “Y’jhimei” to Perpetouss Keep, which concludes in a fierce battle with Garuda from FINAL FANTASY XIV. Players who complete the quest will receive special edition FINAL FANTASY XIV-themed costumes as a reward. Coming December 12th for North America and December 13th for Europe and Japan.

Listen folks, if you don't already know that developing content for games takes time and money, you're going to continue getting upset when things get cancelled because time and money aren't infinite resources.
Money has been lost and devs are moving on with their lives. It'll be okay. There's already a ton of content available for this game. Episode Ardyn was what people wanted most, if I recall. Seeing as he is the most mysterious and intriguing character in the game, I look forward to it.
People have the right to be disappointed. They announced a project just to cancel it

But then again, so much money spent for unimportant additional contents, collaborations, movie and anime tie-ins, instead of making a complete main game.
In truth, they don't need this type of content, they don't need any other collaborations or any other extras that has nothing to do with the actual game.
This game could be great, it have so many potential, but it was handled poorly, it's just that simple.
I mean people have the right to be upset about it as long as they don't throw hatred at it. We were promised DLC and were being told just the other month about how we should look forward to it then they had this stream about the future of the game and just said that they were cancelled.
@@BLOODY__FATALITY Sure, that's lame. I personally had no interest in those episodes. I found the already released ones to be a little lackluster. I was most looking forward to Ardyn's anyway.
Does it suck when stuff gets cancelled? Sure. But it's out of their hands.

they like to make one video with closed captions and one without, though for the last set for comrades a couple days ago there is two identical title video's with absolutely no difference between them.
They upload one with PEGI rating (EU) and one with ESRB rating (USA).

Dear SquareEnix, for the Rathalos event you gave us as reward(after farming it) an *HORRIBLE* equip instead of the official Rathalos equip, and meanwhile on MHW you released, for the Behemoth event, the official DRG AF equipment + Relic weapon(and there is no logic in this). On this next event on FFXIV releated to FFXV, don't make fun of us again, give us the official noctis&co equipment.

Judging by the comments posted, it's funny that the money was already ear marked and spent to open a studio, and develop DLC episodes, only to cancel three out of the four, to then have fans that were excited, and willing to spend money on said episodes, royally pissed off that they can't spend said money on said episodes.......
Where is the logic here? If you spend money, and hype something, only to pull out mid go, you are terrible at running a business. Especially considering you had a good number of people willing to come back to purchase said something, and especially if it further increases customer loyalty. Long gone are the days it seems, where a company would take care of its customers, so that the customers could support the company, and long gone are people that ran said companies, who were willing to take the risks necessary to make their offering the best possible experience and quality.
In are the days of being so afraid to lose money, and in are the days of greed for more and more, that the companies in question, shall lose their customers they once worked so hard to gain.

Normally I'd be mad that more real story content wasn't added... but as someone who has a few thousand hours in ffxiv, I can't do anything but appreciate this.

@@Gilgamesh97C it doesn't matter if FFXIV is not on Xbox this is content for FFXV and all their players. Same thing happened with the FFXIV x Monster Hunter World collab, all Xbox players got to play the event even if there is no FFXIV on that platform.

Everyone, I’m extremely upset about the DLC being cancelled too, but keep in mind that this collaboration was made way before hand, and it would be the FFXIV team working on it instead of XV’s team!
But, yeah, keep yelling at Square because honestly, that was a bad move by cancelling the DLC’s, probably why Tabata left too.
Also, I said this before, I’ll say it again, I’m pretty sure the VA for that catgirl is a nice person, but I find her voice and facial expressions annoying, I’m sorry.

the assasins creed crossover was because the assasins creed team helped with ffxv development and was probably planned since they had assasins costumes in ff13-2

SquareEnix - listen to the fans for FFXVI, FFXV was unfinished, and in place we have multiple crossovers (they’re good in their own right, but in the context of what’s just happened - a total waste of time). I have not bought VR fishing because Final Fantasy is not a fishing game. The mobile game (New Empire) is pure garbage. This should have been the greatest FF in the franchise, instead it could well be the worse.
Give us the Luna and Arenea Episodes!

It's irrelevant really, and I do agree aranea is kinda of a loss and we getting EPISODE ARDYN so basically half of the dlc was trash . EPISODE IRIS would of satisfied that love craving we desperately need from Luna if u ask me .
