Thanks you so very much. I started taking a B1 supplement two days ago after watching your video. I was shocked and in disbelief. The tingling and burning especially after exercising, in both feet and legs have virtually disappeared. I am now sleeping much more peacefully. at nights. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I thought I would have had to spend the rest of my retirement days in constant pain and restless uneasiness. GOD IS GOOD.

@Drberg Hello, Doctor!! My anckel got twisted while stepping downstairs on 5th June this year. Till today, it still hurts on walking and standing for long. My orthopaedic said it's ligaments tear, and it's going to take time to heal. But how long?? It's already 5 to 6 months now😢
Can B1 be helpful in my case? Can a chiropractor help to fix the sprain in the anckel?

Testimony! I was having severe neuropathy down one of my arms, but mostly on my face. It really freaked me out. I watched a video a year ago from Dr. Berg. Talking about the benefits of Benfotiamine. I started taking 300 mg in the morning. And 300 mg at dinner. Within three months all of my symptoms were completely gone. Now I just take 300 mg at dinner for maintenance. I’ve experienced no neuropathy since then. The one that I take is Doctors Best found on Amazon.

This is crucial information! So many people suffer from deficiencies and present with symptoms indicative of nerve issues, and instead of correcting with proper supplementation or proper diet, the medical establishment’s push medications that only mask the issue with no resolution. The medication of course causes more damage in most cases that warrant even more medication for a different issue that resulted from the 1st prescription. This just lines the pockets of big pharmaceutical companies!

My lower back has a degenerated bone disc and the vertebrae actually touch at times causing extreme pain from putting pressure on my spinal cord. I have at least 7 of the things you mentioned in the chart. I've been dealing with ADD since I was very young (I'm now 58), racing thoughts, wake up kicking my legs at night (drives me nuts), my feet are numb on top and feels like I'm walking on small sharp stones on the bottom, and just generally feeling like crap and depressed all the time! I went out and purchased some B1 at the store tonight, took one pill in the store parking lot, and within 20 minutes I feel like I'm on top of the World! Seriously, I have absolutely no depression at all at the moment, I haven't been without depression for years now! I'm not sure my feet and legs are any better, but I've had this issue for several years now, been seeing a back doctor getting all kinds of injections in my back to try and get some relief, my nerves may be too damaged by now to get any relief.
I'll keep taking a daily dose and see what else improves, but just getting rid of the droning depression is amazing!! I'll leave this video up and report back in a few days to see where I'm at then.
Thanks for sharing this info, this has been an amazing experience for me, I hope it helps others as much as it's helped me.

Great video, Dr. Berg! It's fascinating to see how Vitamin B1 (thiamine) plays such a crucial role in nerve health. Research has shown that thiamine deficiency can lead to significant neurological issues, including peripheral neuropathy and cognitive impairments. In fact, a study published in the *Journal of Neurology* highlighted that thiamine supplementation can improve symptoms in patients with diabetic neuropathy.
Additionally, it's important to note that while dietary sources like whole grains, legumes, and nuts are excellent for maintaining adequate B1 levels, some individuals may require supplementation, especially those with absorption issues or certain medical conditions.
For anyone looking to support their nerve health, incorporating B1-rich foods and considering a discussion with a healthcare provider about supplementation could be beneficial. Thanks for shedding light on this important topic!

It's amazing that soooo many conditions seem to be cured by our diets. I can envision a future where healthcare is tailored to the individual. I can imagine a blood measuring device that can analyse our thyroid function, blood sugars, nutrient levels and cholesterols, linked to an AI with most of our knowledge about health and nutrition, will spit out meal plans that keep us on the right path. Probably we can add manually how we are feeling such as anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, lack of energy and more to analyse all our signs and symptoms and give us our best shot at optimal health.

Wow you are such a good public health educator. Your channel has made great impact in my health as I listen to your different videos information….Most doctors don’t bother to share with Pts these important facts . Public health no longer educates the public either. I am so grateful for your videos and the opportunity. These days to learn this info isn’t affordable for me as Functional or metabolic medicine isn’t available to most of us….Your videos are a live saving tool.. I learned through your videos on the importance of Zinc and now the B vitamins deficiency…I had a neurologist once who gave me vitamin B2 for essential tremors and it worked… it is amazing how the pharmaceutical system substituted a true health system and lead Pts to go on the wrong route to wellness…You videos are a treasure to many of us. Thank you for your service! ❤🥇You deserves a medal .

I started a regimen not too long ago that includes B1 (the fat soluble form Benfotiamine), R-Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Folate, P-5-P, L-Citrulline, and Acetyl L-Carnitine. Combined with a reduced carb diet, it seems to be working. The problem is that nerve repair can take months, so it's not for the impatient.

Neither really helped. Then this year Ive been on a protocol of Taurine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Electrolytes, Bit B12 and since Mar the neuropathy in feet has improved a lot. Sometimes have little blips and I rest for a few days, I can definitely tell the effects of alcohol on my body more than ever before. I'm also looking into the effects of too much Calcium in the diet, calcium carbonate seems to be added to an awful lot of foodstuffs.

My understanding is that the lactic acid is not made by the body but the quick muscle response involved with exercise produces lactate, which is the Lactic acid minus one proton,( no longer an acid), which can be recycled into fuel for the muscles. Live Longer site has this explanation, also, recent video by Dr Ben Bickman on lactate explains very well.

Al, your muscles are part of your body. Lactic acid is produced by the body specifically the muscles. 😊

I don't know who knows the most about this, but I'm going to hang my hat on Dr Ben Bickman. Apparently, this is a common mistake, confusing the two molecules. If you have more thoughts on this subject, I'm open to listening. The one thing I'm absolutely sure of is that I don't know everything. If I did ,then of course, I would be vegan and not listening to this.

Thank you Dr. Berg. I've definitely experienced some of these systems over the years from time to time. I replaced my soda addiction with black tea and I have a very high stress job so I'll be making some more adjustments/correction and adding yeast to my diet. Keto got me from 215lbs to 175lbs which I've maintained via low carb diet ever since but I need to make some more adjustments to get even healthier. Your information is greatly appreciated!

You can do it! It's obvious now that our health is in our own hands and not that of the healthcare industry. We do need it and I appreciate doctors and the amount of time they need to study the human body, but they can't be there every day like we are.

I use vitamin D as part of my emotional regulation strategy. I'm going to go with that.
Edit: I also use B1, but didn't think about that. Thanks for reminding me to go take my vitamins.

I had nerve pains for years in my ankle, back and shoulders . The 3 difference doctors only wanted to give me shots and more meds.... plus years of physical therapy.
One day I was looking at Dr Berg old school video about reading food labels.
It told me about a month to find out the problem...... within 3 weeks All of my pain was down to about 20% .....
In about a month after that I was Free of pinched nerve pain ❤
