Certainly a journey ahead of you and will enjoy watching your progress. I hate moving, the last big move we made was when we moved from CA to TN in 1990. We have only moved 4 times since our marriage and I believe with the Lord willing that we will be in this home for the remainder of our lives. We did a rental for about two years before our first move, then bought our first house and lived in it for about 10 years and then with a job transfer to TN, lived in an apartment for about 1 1/2 years until we bought our present home in 1992 and have been here since. Being both in our 70's, we just are not up to doing remodels or such anymore.
Congratulations! I know you hate to leave your childhood home. Always remember that when God closes one door, he opens another. You and your husband will make a lot of good memories in your new home.
