How about the things that happened in Wakanda or Falcon and Winter Soldier? We are not supposed to fill in the blanks. Marvel is supposed to do that for us and they haven’t. I agree that Fury did not change. I felt the set up was how impacted people were by Fury's withdrawal and he did not learn or apologize or grow. He stops by and tells Vara I am leaving tonight, you want to join me. Disappearing again with no attempted resolution or changes in how he interacts with the people who care for him. Where was the story about Fury that was supposed to be what the story was about.
I think the pod room is what gravik was talking to Ghia about when she said "where is everyone " then he said "they're locked away" Is fallsworth knowing it all along, as she was talking to rhodey and I feel she knew he was a skrull.the pods are fallsworth bigger picture. Also, Nerdy NR drinking game, drink each time off screen manager John touches his glasses. 🍻😁
Does Gi'ah have Spiderman's powers? Was Spiderman's blood in the Harvest or did Dr Strange's spell erase it? Gi'ah catching Gravik's fist could be spider sense.
I’m excited to see what happens next in the timeline. So many unanswered questions but I’m ready for the next project. Also maybe there should be 2 more episodes for each show so they can expand more in a more comfortable amount of time
Why is everyone upset over this? I like this storyline of Rhodes being a skrull. Hell we all questioned Far From Home when Talos was pretending to be Fury. Who by the way wore an eyepatch when he didn’t need it. Gravik could’ve been plotting on Fury right after the first Avengers film. Hell who knows?
People don't like the Rhodey reveal because it undermines his moments in everything post Civil War, plus he was in character the whole time until this show so it makes no sense.
@@BaithNa I could see that but it kinda doesn’t. For the fact that earth was being invaded by Thanos forces. And the Skrulls were on the earth for 20 years so it technically was their home at that point. So they defended it and then when they had time to rule they took it
The ramifications from this show better play out in future mcu content , the through line and connectivity between projects is literally the glue that keeps the franchise going and without it I fear marvel will fail.
if we say G'iah is part of the new avengers team, she's the most powerful avenger now, right? she has the most exotic cocktail of powers in the multiverse now
Im calling it now. Gi'ah is going to become the Skrull queen and give birth to hulkling. So he will inherit at least his hulk abilities from his mother.

I read my first Silver Surfer comic when I was twelve. It had a couple of panels cut out of it where one of my brothers had used them for a school project. I still have it. That was 40 years ago, long game people.
Perfectly summed up video on how people are expecting the whole story to be told at once. Well being MCU fans they must understand that this is a CINEMATIC UNIVERSE and it takes time build up the whole story
8:00 The weirdest thing about these Shows is that Disney keeps treating their (unsuccessful) shows as prerequisites to the movies which is LITERALLY the reason everyone is facing superhero fatigue. STOP ALL SHOWS, convert the story into a 3 hour movie, they wouldn’t even lose any scenes really! Just requires a different editing process for the flow and boom, these poor stories will be accepted a little more
He’s wearing braces in falcon and the winter soldier. You can see the light circles, like Tony’s reactors, through his baggy pants. He was definitely grabbed sometime after talking with Sam. At one of his check ups. It’s not the the answer we want but it’s the one we need. You can’t retcon those movies and shows. There’s no way they do Don Cheadle like that. Gotta respect the performance and work to make that. It’s off screen and probably around Shang Chi and before the end of Eternals.
Jay Washington was speaking my language. Sometimes we gotta watch to enjoy (or not) without combing it for Easter eggs and theories. Even though I love that too. Phases 1 and 2 I watched to enjoy and experience. Wasn’t until phase 3 I started trying to dig deeper. Just my opinion.
She wanted a home in her own skin but during the final fight she took her human form and not her original one. Why? Then that also applies to all of them. Like if there in there compound that's filled with skulls why keep the human face on?
They actually explain that in the show when Beto joins. If you stay in the compound you don't need to hide, while the soldiers have to stay in their human form
@@wcokeley85 But that doesn't explain why G'iah changed back into her usual human disguise during the fight with Gravik. He changed back into his normal skin so why didn't she?
I know this doesn't answer the question about when Rhodey was switched, but if you look closely at the scene between Rhodey and Sam in E1 of falcon & winter soldier, you can see the blue lights of the leg braves under his uniform pants.
I love Jay because I was getting tired of everyone saying Secret Invasion wasn't good and that it was too short. I enjoyed it. It's okay to not have all the answers right away. This is just the beginning, there will be more to come.
The speed of the snap has definitely been up and down across the phase so when Yelena dusted and instantlyyy came back I was like yeah I love that the most
In terms of Ebony Maw and having his rings, when Gravik was Hulk, for his Hulk kick, he was somehow wearing the tattered Hulk shorts. Maybe those shorts are part of Hulk's DNA too?? lol
What's happening is, y'all aren't paying attention to the TV series, y'all are concluding what y'all want the series to follow, just remember marvel cinematic universe is not like the comic's, is its own thing. To me she hulk and invasion was a good series and it makes a lot of sense.
The British spy, beautiful acting, and Fury were all in London. And to meet up with Fury, Gia'ah meets the British spy. Fury is leaving earth and it is his way to keep her safe, informed and involved.
i’m guessing rhodey got snatched after the battle of earth. he got pretty banged up when the compound got bombed and he probably had to go to the hospital afterwards. gravik had him taken from there.
Unanswered questions, lack of character development, missing details we needed. There was so much potential here and while it was ok I feel like it missed the mark
John "ugghh I lost my train of thought cause u cut me off..." While in reality he seemed to b having trouble putting his thoughts together b4 Brandon even said anything, all he did was try to understand what John was saying lol
I think there were two sets of Skrulls replicating the Daltons: one in Britain, and one in New Skrullos. I know that as a matter of courtesy and strategy Skrulls tend to avoid doubling up on the humans they replicate, but there’s nothing technically that prevents them from doing so if it were beneficial to them to do so.
Does anyone else feel like Fury, while he managed to handle the situation, didn't have any actual character growth? Like he doesn't ever open up about how the snap/blip affected him, when one of the major plot points is how he won't open up about it.
I heard that the Marvels writer asked Iman exactly what her powers were and hadn't even SEEN her show. If that is true, it would explain a LOT of the disconnect. Writers and directors having to see previous shows before they can work major events into their movie/show. I'm guessing Tiamut's appearance will be written into future shows, but no one that was producing the ones we're seeing now knew that that was going to be a thing so they didn't know they should include it.
I hope that's not true. One of the biggest reasons the mcu was so great, was because everyone at the studio had respect and love for the source material and the story they were telling. If the writers hadn't even seen ms marvel that movie is doomed.
Same thing with Raimi and MoM. Remember how fans were co. plaining about the Netflix shows and especially Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. not tying in properly? Well, guess which team of writers did actually get early access to MCU films so they could write tie-in material? Yup, the AoS team. They had better cohesion with the films than the Disney+ shows, and AoS technically wasn’t even by the same studio. That’s just insulting.
@levischorpioen AoS was a spin off from the Avengers and tied in closely during their 1st season up until WS. Once season 2 started AoS was off doing their own thing
I feel like Rhodey had to be switched out after Endgame. We would all be asking questions if they really revealed if he was switched after Civil War, but not if they revealed it was after Endgame. We would all make sense of it pretty easily. But this guarantees us asking questions, just for them to reveal later that it was after Endgame anyway.
19:13 yeah I was like why linger on some random guy we haven’t seen before, they should of had more cameos here and why show us this in the last minute of the last episode? This series was so frustrating to watch imo but had some good moments
@@chhart79 It has things I didn’t like. Like the CGI battle i knew everyone would pick apart but it has the best acting performances from the cast by miles compared to any of the others.
The arguments about “how did they get the clothing with the powers” is annoying. It was most likely an artistic choice, so we could recognize who and what powers they were emulating.
Brandon, look up genetics. DNA is information which is interactive with consciousness, therefore a Skrull would be likely be able to access this information. Another channel noticed a small purple device on the shoulder which transforms the clothing.
Also, this: why didn’t they just make the Chernobyl sites formal skrull reservations? Nothing else can be done there and it gives them a home. The condition of their asylum is that they will be arrested if they do not appear as skrulls publicly. They MUST wear their own skin. Happy ending for everyone.
34:09 he even gives the creepy smile 😂 and I did think how did he get the ring but I just accepted it as I’m watching an alien embody the powers of the avengers AND villains which Fury forgot to mention for some reason😂
I read G'iah/Fury saying he was relieved to turn to dust as a strategic lie needed to convince Gravik that Fury was actually doing what he appeared to be doing. The only way this scenario wasn't a trick was if Fury had given up and wanted to die.
How long has Rhodey been a Skrull? In "Age of Ultron", at the end of the "party" segment, Ultron gives a speech while in the body of the busted up Legionnaires. Ulrton and his Legionnaires possessed bodies then proceed to attack the Avengers. During this action sequence, Rhodey gets shot right in the chest and gets blasted from an upper story to a lower story. In the next sequence, where they are talking about Ulrton possibly trying to access "nuclear codes", Rhodey is just fine. (aside from holding his arm, but if he got blasted in the chest, he wouldn't be holding his arm, he'd be holding his bleeding chest. However, a Skrull that got blasted in the chest that would have killed a human, but they still need to pretend to be hurt, a good cover would be to hold your arm as though it was injured.)
You didn't mention anything about fury's wife's book having the X-Men logo on it. Didn't mention anything to do with the British fury setting up a Britain avengers team
The sibling rivalry between Gravik and GIa. Nick gave the weapon to Gia and let her get her revenge for her parents, that was all. Nick had to choose between the two kids and the inheritance went to them both and the favorite kid won.
The Marvel's is going to be an important movie because it will be the first time a mutant appears in the 616 MCU. Kamala is called a mutant in her show, which was it's own world unt now (since the events of the TV show don't usually effect the movies).
They had rings on maws hand because that's the cgi marvel already had created hahaha. Thats why we saw the hulk leg do a kick. It was all cgi they'd previously used except the frost blade
Infinity war at 55:50 Rhodey has on his leg assist things. Endgame. All of his leg shots are blocked. The funeral is blocked by a big piece of wood. its crazy.

The quote from the director literally shows why a writer's strike is important. The director isn't clear on what they're portraying or what the storyline is but thinks it's "fun" to speculate and wants it all to be figured out down the line in a movie that is most likely being pushed back??? No sir or no ma'am.
When John reads the quote by the series director, does anyone think Ali Selim is being considered for Armor Wars since he name dropped it? I don't think we normally have directors name drop movies/series like this when they've been questioned during junkets/interviews. Just a thought.
28:10 Yes, I think the big fight between Gi'ah and Gravik should have ended in a stalemate. During which Gi'ah goes into her own speech condemning Gravik for all the Skrulls he just killed at the compound. (That was pretty gruesome when you slow down and look at it) The Mantis power should have made him feel all the anguish of killing his own people. Then he actually flies off into space, maybe to the Skrull colony. Now there's a huge threat Fury accidentally unleashed on the universe and also a great actor to possibly use in the future.
I've come to realize y'all aren't like comic readers, because good or bad you should remember all these movies like a book. Its starting to show. I work a lot, 12 hours shift and all. If you continue to support mediocre writing, you’ll continue to get the same or worse. Fans like him are the reason why Marvel isn’t even trying anymore.
Why has SHIELD, SWORD, or SABER, hell even MI6 investigated the celestial in the water? Why haven’t they investigated Strange and Wanda? Why haven’t they investigated Spider-Man? How about the things that happened in Wakanda or Falcon and Winter Soldier? We are not supposed to fill in the blanks. Marvel is supposed to do that for us and they haven’t. I didn’t even bring up She-Hulk or MoonKnight. This is a problem wether you super fans want to admit it or not
@@JBurnz001 blaming other fans for content you don't like?? Yikes! None of these details matter at all unless there is a good story behind them, with character development and stuff - curiosity alone is not enough. Peace!
I think the pod room is what gravik was talking to Ghia about when she said "where is everyone " then he said "they're locked away"
Is fallsworth knowing it all along, as she was talking to rhodey and I feel she knew he was a skrull.the pods are fallsworth bigger picture.
Also, Nerdy NR drinking game, drink each time off screen manager John touches his glasses. 🍻😁
The mcu is a never ending story. How can something be bad when you haven't seen the end? Let them cook.
Also maybe there should be 2 more episodes for each show so they can expand more in a more comfortable amount of time
This is how I have felt with every project over the past 3 years and nothing is being answered.... It's frustrating.
So they defended it and then when they had time to rule they took it
Three guys all trying their best to be the funniest in the room...
Shoutout Jay for keeping it 💯 !!!
That was the best sponsor segment of any video that was made or will ever be made on UA-cam
Remember Loki is a frost beast🤷🏿♂️
Frost Giant* and Loki can't do those things so why can Giah?
Jay for MVP!!LMAO
Glad we got Jay back
The ramifications from this show better play out in future mcu content , the through line and connectivity between projects is literally the glue that keeps the franchise going and without it I fear marvel will fail.
I agree 100% this better b the start of an epic saga..alot of future flashbacks ..all those deleted scenes
Your feelings are already a reality. NOTHING since Endgame has really been connecting, Marvel flew too close to the sun and now falling to their doom.
if we say G'iah is part of the new avengers team, she's the most powerful avenger now, right? she has the most exotic cocktail of powers in the multiverse now
Im calling it now. Gi'ah is going to become the Skrull queen and give birth to hulkling. So he will inherit at least his hulk abilities from his mother.
Hulking doesn't have Hulk powers and he's half Kree so that doesn't make any sense.
He's also supposed to be around the same age as Wiccan.
@@BaithNa you do know that marvel does their own twist on things. Big example is Gi'ah getting the harvest's abilities. So I'm standing two ft down on my statement. 😤
How about opening the show with Soren’s death so that we can feel it?Instead of the Ross WTF
God bless Jay Washington for his common sense perspectives. This man is a treasure!!
Resident Super Villian? I say thee, NAY! Our liberator from whiners and attention-deficit cry babies!
No, this was just a poorly written story in a cheap and boring show.
Jay look like Trick daddy in the thumb nail… that facial expression…. Actually a little disappointed it wasn’t 😂
Thank you for saying that Jay. We have to wait until they finish weaving the episodes together to appreciate what we got so far. I’m willing to wait.
The show is over, they just didn't tell a good coherent story.
It's bad writing and that's why it's the lowest rated Marvel project to date.
Because they're too cheap to do the Skrull make up.
@@wcokeley85 But that doesn't explain why G'iah changed back into her usual human disguise during the fight with Gravik. He changed back into his normal skin so why didn't she?
@@mrcreeper6177 coz she wanted to. Just coz Gravik changed back into a Skrull, doesn't mean Gi'ah had to
What happened to the Skrulls during the blip/snap? I’m sure some of them had to be dusted. Why didn’t we see or hear about this?
Half of them must've dusted. Maybe the ones who dusted never joined new Skrullos?
@@tabathacarruthers5122 possibly. When was New Skrullos established? So many unanswered questions were created by the second half of the season.
I enjoyed Age of Ultron it was just the first time when we realised sometimes they just use the comic story name and not quite the story itself 😅
Exactly they keep saying marvel get in mapped out but the question the destinations I don’t understand it!
So people aren’t allowed to dislike it? 😊
No, it's just poorly written and Jay is trying to be kind because he's in the business and doesn't want to burn any bridges.
I'm leaning toward a Skrull Civil War on Earth. Falsworth saying "the enemy" makes me wonder who is the enemy.
Maybe those shorts are part of Hulk's DNA too?? lol
I feel bad for whoever is responsible for letting all those people who were kept in those pods know what happened while they were replaced by skrulls.
What's happening is, y'all aren't paying attention to the TV series, y'all are concluding what y'all want the series to follow, just remember marvel cinematic universe is not like the comic's, is its own thing. To me she hulk and invasion was a good series and it makes a lot of sense.
Rhodey had leg braces on Falcon and Winter Soldier. The lights show up under the pants. At least in the first episode…
The gaps have gotten bigger. The time it took from Iron Man 1 to 2 etc vs any of the active franchises 1st & 2nd movies gets bigger and bigger
Intro was phenomenal they mastered it
So many unanswered questions 😂🙈 dunno why they clearly edited down this show so much. We needed that extra time plus some
The British spy, beautiful acting, and Fury were all in London.
6:50 i think that everyone is missing this point!
Unanswered questions, lack of character development, missing details we needed. There was so much potential here and while it was ok I feel like it missed the mark
40:32 yeah I was going to say, in the comics the heroes have spoken to the president a lot
John "ugghh I lost my train of thought cause u cut me off..." While in reality he seemed to b having trouble putting his thoughts together b4 Brandon even said anything, all he did was try to understand what John was saying lol
I hate how corporate new rockstars is becoming, just that
I think there were two sets of Skrulls replicating the Daltons: one in Britain, and one in New Skrullos. I know that as a matter of courtesy and strategy Skrulls tend to avoid doubling up on the humans they replicate, but there’s nothing technically that prevents them from doing so if it were beneficial to them to do so.
31:42 again, that line delivery killlsss me 😂
Does anyone else feel like Fury, while he managed to handle the situation, didn't have any actual character growth? Like he doesn't ever open up about how the snap/blip affected him, when one of the major plot points is how he won't open up about it.
The mental gymnastic to defend the show is commendable
@@wcokeley85it keeps connecting to the MCU until the end of Season 4when they do time traveling for the first time.
@@BaithNa it doesn't. The MCU haven't introduced Inhumans on the main Earth yet, but AoS season 2 was all about Inhumans
Calling Carol the annihilator? The Marvels post credit scene "Annihilator? I'll give em annihilation" "... wait til they get a load of us"
I feel like Rhodey had to be switched out after Endgame.
I know some dislike it but this is my favorite series.
Right?! I really enjoy it.
@@chhart79 It has things I didn’t like. Like the CGI battle i knew everyone would pick apart but it has the best acting performances from the cast by miles compared to any of the others.
@@478Johnnyboy most definitely agree. Sam Jackson, Don Cheadle and Olive Colman gave incredible performances.
@@chhart79 For that alone it deserves to be in top 5. I get it had problems but i hate its being rated as one of the lowest
The arguments about “how did they get the clothing with the powers” is annoying. It was most likely an artistic choice, so we could recognize who and what powers they were emulating.
Oh, so it was just bad writing.
Cool. 😂
Brandon, look up genetics. DNA is information which is interactive with consciousness, therefore a Skrull would be likely be able to access this information.
Another channel noticed a small purple device on the shoulder which transforms the clothing.
DNA doesn't interact with consciousness 😂😂😂
Also, this: why didn’t they just make the Chernobyl sites formal skrull reservations? Nothing else can be done there and it gives them a home. The condition of their asylum is that they will be arrested if they do not appear as skrulls publicly. They MUST wear their own skin. Happy ending for everyone.
The main pods were hooked up to the memory machines. The room was just regular low-level skrulls
I agree 100% MCU is a never ending story so no story is ever gonna be complete wrapped up it’s always gonna lead to the next thing
Loki is a Frost Giant
34:09 he even gives the creepy smile 😂 and I did think how did he get the ring but I just accepted it as I’m watching an alien embody the powers of the avengers AND villains which Fury forgot to mention for some reason😂
I read G'iah/Fury saying he was relieved to turn to dust as a strategic lie needed to convince Gravik that Fury was actually doing what he appeared to be doing. The only way this scenario wasn't a trick was if Fury had given up and wanted to die.
They said from the beginning that the shows wouldn't be required for the movies, but they are 😢.
I've always loved age of ultron, my most rewatchable marvel movie.
Infinity war at 55:50 Rhodey has on his leg assist things. Endgame. All of his leg shots are blocked. The funeral is blocked by a big piece of wood. its crazy.
Saying you hope someone gets what they deserve is now a negative in my mind. Thanks, Joker 😂
Great to see Jay!!!
Love the content! And just express how you feel about the show! Whether you like it or were disappointed, having good and bad feedback helps improve shows
I think Rhodes was swapped during the 5 year blip, even though he was helping the Avengers. That is when the Scrodey was ranking up in the White House
I hope not. Bad director
28:10
Yes, I think the big fight between Gi'ah and Gravik should have ended in a stalemate. During which Gi'ah goes into her own speech condemning Gravik for all the Skrulls he just killed at the compound. (That was pretty gruesome when you slow down and look at it)
The Mantis power should have made him feel all the anguish of killing his own people. Then he actually flies off into space, maybe to the Skrull colony.
Now there's a huge threat Fury accidentally unleashed on the universe and also a great actor to possibly use in the future.
So basically let marvel cook
I've come to realize y'all aren't like comic readers, because good or bad you should remember all these movies like a book. Its starting to show. I work a lot, 12 hours shift and all. I remember everything about each and everyone of these movies down to the root without watching yall breakfowns and shit. Erik and his quick google research notes, y'all are really just entertainment fans. Marvel might be high up there and nostalgic for y'all, but yall can't remember 98% of the MCU. It's quite funny, i hope yall get paid well.
