Mick Mars is the guitarist's name that you forgot. Very underrated guitarist. He was overshadowed by everyone else in the band. He's not flashy but he's a great heavy bluesy player with some killer riffs
Robert Alan Deal aka Mick Mars came close to give up music when Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee were looking for guitarist, Deal (Mars) dyed his hair black hoping for a fresh start. Since he was 17, Mars has major health issue with arthritis that affects his spine and pelvis. Over the years, he was nearly seized up. That's why he looks stiff.
Actually in the 80's in allll the metal magazines with readers votes Crue dominated every category and Mick always got greatest guitar player and that is fact!I had every magazine there was to have cuz followed Crue from the beginning as well as Ratt!!That's all you seen on the covers was Ratt & Crue!!Mick and Warren Demartini are 2 of the best with metal and bluesy feels to their music!!
Concerts from the 80s bands were always shows for sure...it's why that era of music was so huge and why people keep going to them 30 plus years later. It was an experience you didn't want to miss and needed to be a part of for sure. So glad I got to experience that and still get that opportunity too!
Mick Mars is the most talented member of the group and probably one of the most underrated guitar players and the guy is incredible, one of the cleanest players just kills it all the time.
Motley has been putting on KILLER Stage shows for 40yrs! To see them Live is definitely an experience. Caution: They are extremely loud and will have your ears still ringing a week later! 🤘
It's one of the all-time greatest live bands. I've seen their show 13 times, and they always amaze you. I saw them once in the 90's in Billings, Montana, and they were drawing so much juice that they blew the power and had to start the show over after 20 minutes
Weird as this might sound.. I spent my young adulthood as a figure skater. What I liked about figure skating was getting to choose my own music and participating in my own choreography, and I chose many songs that were "off the grid", so to speak. When every other skater was out there performing songs from "Grease" or "Annie", I was out there with "Girls, Girls, Girls", dressed in black leather. Or "Pour Some Sugar on Me". "Turn Up The Radio" or "Bad Medicine". Or "Enter Sandman", dressed as the "Sandman", in a black tattered dress, as I put my own daughter (also a figure skater) to bed to face her night terrors....also skated to "Nothing Else Matters"... I pushed the envelope and surprise... I always won. Lol. Grease and Annie - done to death. My mission was to show how Metal and Figure Skating could come together if the skaters knew what they were was doing. My husband also joined in... He learned to play hockey and played cameo roles in our performances. It was awesome to hear the applause and also to see the bewildered faces on some other audience members. We as a family became known as "The Ones You Don't Know What To Expect From".
I went to this exact concert and it was a crazy party. Just like back in the 80's. So much fun.. Cameras everywhere. You should check out the whole concert..
It's about this time that Mick was starting to stiffen up frome his debilitating condition he started slowing down and went thru a lot of pain, but he rocked out despite all that .he is one of the most underrated guitarists of this area.
As an '80s teen, wish I saw these guys in concert! Was a casual fan but what an amazing show they put on. Never realized what we had back then but to see it now is fantastic compared to today.
The carnival of sins tour was the motley reunion back in 03-04ish and the theme was basically a carnival gone mad, hence the big top, performers with an evil carnival vibe
The stories I could tell you, I am on old 80’s chick, I first saw these guys way up in Duluth Minnesota, besides losing my shoes, the incredible partying afterwards at at local bar where they showed up, even got on stage to jam withe band paying, towards end My mind blocks out some things ( obviously for good reason 🤪) but they were awesome, to experience concerts in the 80’s were amazing! My final concert was 91 in moscow with Metallica where I got quite injured but so many concerts and crazy times!
I was in high school in the late 80's....I had the pleasure of seeing Guns n roses open for Motley Crue in Lakeland florida. Loud as hell and badass! Best concert ever!
Man nobody puts on a show like MOTLEY CRUE LIVE!!Unreal how loud they are and the energy!!Every time I've seen them always leave wanting more!!The original "Bad Boys of Rock" Like Stephen Pearcy said when asked about Motley....4 hardcore MuthaFuckers!!!
I HIGHLY Recommend the intro and first song Shout at the Devil of this Carnival of sins tour.. talk about being "FIRE"..... Incredible show...Last time I was happy w/ seeing Crue. It was the perfect show. Crue has always been theatrical and they're always looking at one upping the previous tour.. I mean Tommy has had tilting drum risers, drums that spin, drum roller coasters etc.. but over all this show/tour here was my favorite. The thing w/ Motley when they're all getting along they all still think they're in the younger 20's just getting their big break off the strip. Only difference is now they have the budget to do whatever their imagination can come up with for a show. And that's what the Carnival of Sins tour basically was.
Wow, loved how deep you were into the groove from 7:00, @ 7:35 your head did the roll and drop on the beat, this part in the song is a beast, and you had it by the short and currlies, Mick screaming on the unison bend, your furrowed brow and in perfect sync then the dude stops it @ 7:38, you take an air swing to the silence cause the momentum of that groove is like a freightrain and you can't just make a dead stop. then your look....I've seen that before....I had a good time, no really.... Thanks for reminding me of the beauty of hard rocking women
I've been a die hard Crüehead since grade 2 when Shout At The Devil came out (you do the math). Few things, as a blues based hard rock singer myself who also covers Girls Girls Girls, the secret to the "high notes" is they tune everything down to D first. Try it, it does my voice wonders and makes it last longer! Second, the 4th man you didn't know the name for is one of the most under rated shredders, Mick Mars. He is a great guy (we speak rarely, he is busy, but super nice). And you HAVE to go out and buy the following: The Dirt, their book. Yes the movie was not bad but their story is so absolutely insane, there isn't any way it could all fit into anything short of several full length movies and honestly, I doubt they have a rating for something so bad ass! There is a real reason why they are known as "The Bad Boys of Rock"! And you need to also grab a copy of their DVD from their final show in 2015, All Bad Things Must Come To An End. They fully intended to retire but have a U.S. tour booked for this summer. That was so far, their last world tour. I flew from where I live, about a 2 hour drive north east of Toronto to L.A for 1 SINGLE CONCERT! No, it wasn't 1st time seeing them, I've been a faithful fan for 3 decades and seen many shows. But THAT show was the biggest one of their career. Tommy Lee's roller coaster drum kit got stuck, with him in it, halfway through, with him hanging upside down! With so much extra wireless (namely cameras) signals got crossed and there he hang. It was EPIC. The whole show was epic. Never used so much Pyro in their career as that night, arrived by special hearse (I got shots of me bent over it out back!), I'm telling ya, Nikki's band of a runaway, an old man, a kid drummer and a cover band singer has never been matched by anyone. And trust me, I've seen almost everything. I was born into a rock and roll family and raised rock and roll. I've done a lot but these guys have really done everything. Just a side note too, Nikki Sixx wrote almost all of their music over 40 years. Not bad for one of the most notorious heroin addicts and alcoholics of the 80s eh? Oh, and I wear his autographed portrait proudly on my leg and lots more Mötley tats elsewhere...seriously, get some shopping done. I've given you a small list to start with. You won't regret your new found addiction. And yes. Every single concert was a party. For all of us!
If you haven’t done it already you have to do Live Wire from this concert and Kick start from heart from Los Angeles The end concert in 2016. Ive been fortunate to see the Crue the first time in 1987 at 13 years and all the way through 2022 in Atlanta and Nashville. Nothing like it great band, great songs and great women.
I saw this concert tour here in Vancouver and yeah it was some type of fucken party alright lol...all I can say is "TOMMY CAM!!" and let the chaos begin!!
Nowhere is "somewhere" because, when you get there, it's here. Mick Mars is always tight with those power chords. I've heard him compared to Frankenstein's creation - whoever created him deserves a Nobel Prize! They should check the seizmograph readings from the next county for those pyros at the start of Wildside!
Nice. When I was 21, I just had to go to the Doll House in Fort Lauderdale after hearing this song. It was as good as I'd hoped! LOL I don't think it is there anymore.
Mick Mars is a bloody marvel. Hes had a rare form of arthritis since his teens which has meant his spine has fused and he has suffered a lot pain. Its so great to see him standing let alone play like a boss. I like Motley Crew but as some else mentioned the singing in their earlier years is better. These days Vince is just a meme on youtube.
Welcome to the wild world of Mötley Crüe my friends thank you so much for doing this video of THE GREATEST Sex drugs, and rock 'n' roll band of all time I've seen eight times.🤘🏻 first time being 1983 the year I graduated high school and the year my girlfriend was born who I took to Mötley Crüe show and expressed how great the Mötley Crüe open up for Ozzy Osbourne in 1983 show was look it up the infamous Ozzy and Mötley Crüe tour infamous!!! Yes it's a show. It sucks Drugs and Rock & Roll, Tommy Lee, Vince, Neal and Nikki Sixx 🤘🏻
I heard you say how much they love it like they just wrote the song yesterday… I've heard you calling them "artists" they were THE Sex drugs, and rock 'n' roll LA "BAND" if I were you, I'd look up all about them. Read the book "The Dirt" See the movie "The Dirt"🤘🏻
Oh yeah they are loud and get such a full sound with only 3 instruments and a vocal...saw them with Whitesnake who were great...but the cruel still blew them away...
Have you checked out anything from their bass player Nikki Sixx? Sixx A.M. great band. Life Is Beautiful is a good starting point. I saw them with Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch at the T Mobile arena in Vegas.
Hey loved your reaction. You should watch the hole show from start. Just amazing!! They always had so awesome shows on tour. Maybe check out the Final Tour from 2015. Or check out their biopic on Netflix "The Dirt". But they are back!!! Should have gone on tour last year, but posponed it because of Covid 19. Hopefully this year together with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett..The Stadium Tour.
Hey Guys!!! Sorry to Break your Bubble, BUT the Harmonies are Pre-Recorded because they Can't Do it Live Anymore (Like they could in 1987.... Uh, yeah)
OK, I've been watching you for a while now. I know what you like. I'd like to request you review "Scorpions Passion Rules The Game" the official video it's a live concert video. I think it's got what you BOTH like & lots of it. It's not as well known as their most known songs but it's a killer riff, solos, and that high energy stage action that is prevalent to the 1980's
That was the last really good motley tour, great set list. As far as the band is concerned. Not the show itself. And notice the crowd, no phones in hand just standing there like these days.
Good morning guys I wish you guys would do some reacting to Gary Moore Still got the blues. You may have and I may have missed it but just in case I haven’t you’re missing out on some blazing guitar have a good day guys I enjoy watching you
I love Motley Crue and Mick Mars is probably the biggest reason for that. His guitar playing drives all of their songs.
x2 My Heroeee!!!
Mick Mars makes this band !
Agreed!
Don't agree, Mick is an average guitarist. the only real good musician is Tommy. But who cares, the mix of the four is awesome.
He always reminded me of Ace Freley very low key on stage
Concerts from the 80s bands were always shows for sure...it's why that era of music was so huge and why people keep going to them 30 plus years later. It was an experience you didn't want to miss and needed to be a part of for sure. So glad I got to experience that and still get that opportunity too!

Absolute facts!
Mick Mars. His playing is amazing. The true Bad Boys of rock!!!
Mick Mars is one of the most underrated guitarists ever.
That whole concert is a must watch.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘♥️♥️♥️👍😁😄😳🤪🔥
Motley has been putting on KILLER Stage shows for 40yrs! To see them Live is definitely an experience. Caution: They are extremely loud and will have your ears still ringing a week later! 🤘
You are correct. I went to this concert and couldn't get the ringing to stop for the whole next week but it was well worth it.
Ive been lucky enough to have seen them 13 times live in concert, and they never, ever fail to put on a amazing show...long live The Crue🤘
Their always moving giving what they have. Pur dibitary & great loud music. Just a really great band to see
It's one of the all-time greatest live bands. I've seen their show 13 times, and they always amaze you. I saw them once in the 90's in Billings, Montana, and they were drawing so much juice that they blew the power and had to start the show over after 20 minutes
legendary performers putting on legendary show's we will never see again. So glad to have grown up as a gen Xer.
So glad you two saw this!! I'm 51 & been a Cruehead since 1983. Awesome reaction!!
AC/DC-Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (Live at River Plate).
You won't regret it guys.

Good 😎👍 other songs from Motley Crue ----> Don't go away mad ... Kickstart my heart ... Dr.Feelgood ... Look that kill .. Home sweet home .. 😎👍
Seen the Crue live many many times. It’s EPIC. And that’s coming from someone who’s all time favorite band is Pantera. Love the Crue!!
As an '80s teen, wish I saw these guys in concert! Was a casual fan but what an amazing show they put on. Never realized what we had back then but to see it now is fantastic compared to today.
Cool video! I was at that show! It was filmed at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Great show and party!
When the Girls Girls Girls album came out in the 80s I ran out bought tickets to the concert awesome 👍😎🤘🎸🥁🎶
The carnival of sins tour was the motley reunion back in 03-04ish and the theme was basically a carnival gone mad, hence the big top, performers with an evil carnival vibe
The tour is called Carnival of Sins....the song is just Wildside...They are playing under a huge circus tent
they started out with girls, girls, girls, then went into wildside, what a maroon lol
I went to the Mötley Crüe Down Under Carnival of Sins tour it was beyond epic on top Motörhead was playing.
I HIGHLY Recommend the intro and first song Shout at the Devil of this Carnival of sins tour.. talk about being "FIRE"..... Incredible show...Last time I was happy w/ seeing Crue. I got to see them on this tour I still have the DVD box set somewhere. Most over the top live show I have ever seen
LET THERE BE ROCK, LIVE AT THE RIVER PLATE!!
You need to watch the whole concert of Carnival of sin its a banger
The way the opened with Shout at the Devil with the flamethrowers timed to SHOUT was amazing
Well well the beginning has been a masterpiece ahah you ROCK
Im watching this concert again so good
Mick Mars.....ripping the crap outta that guitar, I LOVE IT!!!
I got to see these lunatics when these songs first came out. 1987, at the old Hartford Civic Center, touring with Whitesnake. Back when music was FUN!
This is the BAND!!!
If you haven’t done it already you have to do Live Wire from this concert and Kick start from heart from Los Angeles The end concert in 2016. Saw this show in Philly, it was definetely something to see!!!
Incredible amount of music, from 1 bass, 1 guitar, and a drummer. Add some vocals, and you have a head bashing party! 🤘
I saw this concert tour here in Vancouver and yeah it was some type of fucken party alright lol...all I can say is "TOMMY CAM!!" and let the chaos begin!!

I like Motley Crew but as some else mentioned the singing in their earlier years is better. These days Vince is just a meme on youtube.
The original Studio Version is bester in my opinion. These rythems are fire
Vince Neil: Leadsinger
Nikki Sixx: Bassplayer
Mick Mars: Leadguitarist
Tommy Lee: Drums
The Carnival of Sins Tour 2005.
You two are awesome! Love to see you watch The Dirt and break that down.
I was there baby I think that was their best tour
Yes, Motley crue are still kicking a** on the wildside )
Now it's time to get over to Netflix and watch The Dirt! You will not be disappointed.
Now imagine the drum riser on wild side coming out over the crowd . Then spinning with tommy in it not missing a beat 20’ over your head.
You two are the best
Please react to five finger death punch war is the answer
I think because Mick Mars wasn't flashy and the other 3 guys were such big personas...that's the reason he gets forgotten.
Carnival of sins was the name of the tour
I heard you say how much they love it like they just wrote the song yesterday… I've heard you calling them "artists" they were THE Sex drugs, and rock 'n' roll LA "BAND" if I were you, I'd look up all about them. Read the book "The Dirt" See the movie "The Dirt"🤘🏻

You want to see theatrics check out his drum solos on his track. It's wild!!
Oh yeah they are loud and get such a full sound with only 3 instruments and a vocal...saw them with Whitesnake who were great...but the cruel still blew them away...
Carnival of Sins was the name of the tour not the song. The song is just called Wild Side.
Grand Rapids was having the time of their life at that show, I know because I was in the 6th row.
Isee full show is a greeeaaattt !!!!!
Have you checked out anything from their bass player Nikki Sixx?
Sixx A.M. great band. Life Is Beautiful is a good starting point.
I saw them with Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch at the T Mobile arena in Vegas.

I think it's got what you BOTH like & lots of it. It's not as well known as their most known songs but it's a killer riff, solos, and that high energy stage action that is prevalent to the 1980's
That concert was the shit🤘🤘🤘
That was the last really good motley tour, great set list. As far as the band is concerned. Not the show itself. And notice the crowd, no phones in hand just standing there like these days.
