We are the Met Office, the UK’s national weather service, and every day of the week we bring you a morning weather forecast and an afternoon weather forecast so that wherever you are in the UK we have you covered.
Forecasts and any weather warnings are accurate at time of recording. To ensure you have the most up to date weather information, check the hourly forecast and live warnings on the Met Office website or app.
Honor might be the greatest addition the Met office has ever put in the limelight. Exceptional presenting and really has settled into this role
Yeah, it is amazing there. This is cool
Agreed👍
The 10 Day Trend is generally useful and interesting. I would like to see more focus on the forecast beyond the weekend, rather than the next few days, which are already covered in other MetOffice videos.
Thank you Honor being partly deaf you are the best met officer for me lip reading you is just great it so difficult with most commentators thanks a million.
Honor is such a wonderful uplifting presenter, she makes bad weather sound like the sun is coming out ☀️ 👍👏👏👏
Ms Criswick is an excellent Met presenter and Meteorologist. I found the presentation / forecast easy to follow, easy to listen too and well presented. I expect Ms Criswick will soon be on our TV screens in the not o distant future. She has an easy style of mixing information with charts and forecast simulations. Bob
Thank you, Honor
Many thanks Honor, not too bad a forecast for the next few days, at least it’ll allow all the flooding to dry out a bit, thank goodness. Thanks again, to the Met Office too.
Wow Honor, she has the greatest addition in met office. It is a wet start. London is getting wetter
Crossing Biscay on Tues/Wed so lets hope you are right about the High to the south. Many thanks!
Thanks for the latest info Honor!
Looks like high pressure, "So as I say" "And once again" It looks like high pressure! I like this lady xxx
Thankyou honor😊
Nice and smiley whatever the weather👍
Could do with a dry February for once..
Ohh yes
Thanks honor
Is that weather front at 5:42 the longest in history?! 😮
It might not be the favoured option but I bet we end up with the cold easterly.
EDIT: And guess what? The models are now swinging strongly in favour of a Scandinavian high and potentially very cold easterlies from next weekend. Told you. lol
February is totally unpredictable. Anything can happen weather wise.
It used to be fairly predictable at least compared to other months often being the driest month of the year. Early February can be traditionally sunny and quite pleasant with a wet/stormy middle and frequently the coldest weather of the winter late in the month often running into March.
@Hugh-nr5sx It's my birthday in early February, and my wife's mid Feb. We are both well into our 60s. I can remember, very bad weather as in snow and ice. Also, going out in shorts for a drink. To me, February is impossible to predict spot on. I guess you should also take into account your location.
@@KPP365 Yup. The dry spell that can occur in early February is roughly the equivalent of St Luke's Mini-summer towards the back end of October. My brother's birthday is the 12th and is invariably dull and often wet.. second weekend in February is the Newbury race meeting with final trials before the Festival and almost always cold and wet. I went once and don't recall as a particularly pleasant experience. Sea temperatures generally bottom out around early March and that can be quite influential. Thankfully the warming sun increasingly offsets.
Ah those pesky showers get everywhere😊.
10 day trend! Love they are making work harder than these men. 😂
A bit more like a 10 day forecast rather that a look at the trend which underlies the forecast.
All these UKMO video forecasts are delivered a little too quickly for me, 160 wpm is comfortable, maybe it's because I'm an old curmudgeon who has now turned 70.
I am not a member of the HC appreciation society as it seems everyone else who's made a comment.
PS I counted 13 "largely". 🤨
Once again, Once again, Once again, Once again, Once again, Once again, Once again, 🤨😐😶
Honir, please don't wave your hands anticlockwise round anticyclones! It confuses the brain!
