Free Camping Monongahela NF near West Fork Rail Trail in WV

This is a free primitive camping area on Forest RD 44 near West Fork Rail Trail in the Monongahela National Forest north of Durbin, WV. There are three dispersed campsites each with a gravel parking pad. The West Fork of the Greenbrier River is within earshot of this dispersed camping area, and there is trail head parking for the West Fork Rail Trail and access to the river a few miles north on Forest Road 44. There is no AT&T or Verizon cellular service at this location. Grid coordinates are: 38.590333, -79.822792
