@@tops247 Bullshit. I travel most years to the Maldives between May and September. The weather is warm, the sea is warm and prices are often 40% lower. Yes we have a few days of rain but over a 14 day trip its not a problem. For a half price holiday on a resort I will happily take a few rainy days.
Dear Kev, thank you for your lovely comment. I am sure our viewers will appreciate the information that hotel prices drop significantly outside of the main season and that they can also get plenty of sunshine during the rainy season. Much appreciated. Have a wonderful day
I am not saying that you can't have great vacation on a local island but there are many reasons why it is cheaper. There are mosquitoes, trash and sometimes water problems... I don't normally prefer resorts but Maldives are beach destination and resorts eliminate those issues. You can get better deals in the beginning or in the end of the wet season.
We have more cheap than this and one of the cheapest island in all Maldives, our guest house in Guraidhoo island starting from 32$ per night double room on bed and breakfast rate including GST and Green Tax and Service charge ;)
Hi, I recommend to check with your accommodation about transportation in advance. They can book the speed boat for you. This way you have no stress when arriving and the costs are the same. If you late decide to hop between islands, you can always book the transport via your accommodation. Enjoy the Maldives
Hi Tomas, there will not be a big difference between north and south. The country is not very big and there are not natural barriers like mountains or anything, so you can have the same great or bad weather north and south.
Hi, that really depends what you are looking for. If you want unspoiled beaches and very little other tourists, then the further away from Male, the better. But if you also want to have some entertainment, water sport activities, multiple restaurants to choose from, then you need to stay close to Male.
@@tops247 Im looking for a nice low budget luxury resort island with a nice white sand beach ? Anything close to the centre cuz I don’t wanna pay extra for transportation cuz I saw reviews on Tripadvisor some resorts u have to pay 500/400/370 USD FOR SEAPLANE TRANSFER
Which is the best month to go?
November - March. But the weather is warm and nice all year. Only need to avoid the wet season.
Not so warm but yeah humidity is much more ... But don't forget to carry cap & suncream if u want to enjoy outside in sunlight....
