    Very interesting. Native earthworms species is a neglected area.so many wonderful species r there.on my field trips so many interesting ones r encountered but no expert to help identify. Growing them also is a very rewarding experience n hobby.

    Very interesting show sultan sir...i am a maths teacher...who us very much interested in gardening....u have come to our schol for a seminar long back..sone 8 yrs back...spoke about earthworms....and composting.....I would like to join ur studies if possible...right now also..or atleast after retirement...

    What micro nutrients, Harmons are available in vermicompost .
    Second question applying only vermicompost is it sufficient for soil.

    Where can we get Native worms

      In the video dr Ismail talks about how you can catch and multply desi worms. Just dig a small hole, put cowdung and jaggery and cover with a sack. Moisten it a bit, after few days u will find desi worms in it - u can then multiply them

    I got reminded of one your earlier comment about how professor's who "teach" doctors never got to practice what they teach.!! Policy/Plan is always on the paper! What one say's and what they actually do (execution) are two different things. Be it the policy of current TN government or be it Mr. sultan Ismail who's blowing trumpet for this government's initiatives.
