Daily Guard Report: 12/08/22 So far, many lands have fallen to the wretched siren, her song is claiming many lives, with little escape. Daily Guard Report: 12/08/22
So far, many lands have fallen to the wretched siren, her song is claiming many lives, with little escape. On the first day of December, a small group of Wardens journeyed to see if she was still trapped in ice. Accounting for time taken to stop and rest, it would be about a two days journey to get there, and two days to return. They’re 4 days late. On the 6th day I had to go to the homes of the fallen soldiers and tell their families the news, they likely would not make it home. I fear for my home, for my people, she knows where we are, and the song, I can already hear it in my head, though I know she is still not here. My blade is ready, though I know it will not be enough. It is only the 8th day, if my calculations are correct, accounting for towns in between her prison and the city, she will be here by the 13th. Then, we will enter the final 12 Days of Christmas, and hopefully we will survive.
She is coming, the city’s evacuation will begin tomorrow. My shift is over, I will try to rest, though I doubt I’ll be able to.

its been around a week since the news showed up the emergency warning about how she defrosted. everyone started to get out of their houses and run on the roads from the outside of my house. some started fighting, few died, i was able to saw the blood on the street-

car alarms were very loud, too loud to be able to hear our doom, however, they stopped suddenly. and people stopped almost instantly and froze almost like statues to hear what was the noise.

Its december 3rd, i wasnt able to sleep, i didnt realize it was already 7 AM, it almost felt like the entire night passed instantly. i also fixed the problem about the recording showing up static. so now it shouldnt show this much static, just a fe-

but we got much worse things to worry about. the song was able to be heard like some average christmas song from your phone, but it keep getting louder as time passed. luckily, but not really, the news showed up another emergency warning.
but it wasnt that useful. let me tell you what it said:

it was pretty allright, but i wasn't really able to hear it as the music was too loud. so i decided to take my daily breakfast and stay calm.

i ate some cereal and milk, and the music suddenly became even louder. i will make an update when something occurs.

the date is December 4th, nothing other than the music being even louder occured yesterday. it passed really slowly too. weirdly enough the news havent posted their update yet. i am starting to get worried. the snow is still decently big, by that i mean, very big. i actually need to dig through it in order to visit someone. but the news said that is not possible. but i ultimately decided to do it anyways. hoping i find someone else to make sure i am not the only human alive by now.
i opened the door and the music slapped me very hard. it was like 4 times louder and my ears were starting to get hurt.
but i didnt gave up, even if i didnt thought that i was the only human alive by then. so i grabbed up a shovel and started digging up to my left neighbours house.
i made some headphones out of some older pillows and i was able to support the music. i got to my neighbours house. but i was pretty worried when i saw the snow was getting red when i was closer to his house.
so his door wasnt locked for some reason, but at that point i didnt wanted to know the reason so i kicked straight in, screaming "IS ANYONE ALLRIGHT OR AT LEAST ALIVE?!?"
i almosy cried when i saw someone actually being alive. they told me to close the door as the music was very very loud for them, but when i tried going back home, the tunnel collapsed and i was left at their door. they accepted me inside and i thanked them.
we were able to hear the trucks coming to give us food, but that made me very very worried.

if they didnt saw me inside my house, then they probably would think that i was dead and they would stop visiting me, knowing i live single. so i grabbed my shovel, prayed to god i was able to make it and got back to my house as fast as possible. and i succeded.
if you wonder about the blood under my neighbours door, it was because he got harmed during the street battle. so i didnt cared too much which isnt that good but that dosent matter. at this point your neither alive or gone for good.
suddenly the music grew astronomically loud, my pillow headphones actually broke and i was able to hear the song that made my ears bleed. i was getting dizzy and started going insane. i barely heard screams from the others, but then i almost passed out when i saw my door being broken in half with festive decorations around it. note that i didnt put on my christmas decorations yet. so i was very very scared. i suddenly went deaf but i was still able to hear it somehow, i thought that was it. i was already dead.
i sprinted into my room like i never did and closed the door.
but that door was also broken down and i saw it this time.
i sent a message to anyone who would be able to hear it when that happened.
it was SHE...
she was getting closer and closer to me, i was scared to the absolute worst. i already got down and gave up.
then i heard her from left:
"you are my only one left, the others are gone for good, you are the one who survived this time, you impressed me. that dosent mean you end up better than them in any way. you will end up as my very own.."
i screamed so hard my neck hurt very badly after that "WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK DO YOU MEEEAANNN MISS???"
suddenly she grabbed some christmas lights and covered me in them, but right before she sliced me with them...
i woke up like absolutely nothing happened. i was so confused and i asked anyone "BRO WHERE IS SHEE?"
they didnt remember anything but i did.
i heard multiple news articles about people having similar memories, so i guess i was one of them now. this explains why every year she defrosts somehow i dong remember anything about that and just woke up in another normal day.
was i was worried for real was "what happened to some of that guys" because some of them were found dead at their homes for unknown reasons. so i thought that they were the only ones left once again.
i hope i will never feel such trauma again and i will try my best to be as basic as possible during such periods.
my hands hurt now lol
i spend around 30 mins typing this up and it dosent really make sense
anyways i am free from typing this but i plan on making a part 2 next year
