@@irondarknessdarkness8900 I asked ChatGPT to respond to this:
The assertion that "any kind of AI or developing AI should be a criminal act against humanity" is quite extreme and overlooks the numerous beneficial applications of AI in society. While there are valid concerns regarding AI ethics, privacy, security, and potential misuse, AI technology also has the potential to significantly improve various aspects of human life, including healthcare, education, transportation, and more.
      1. **Healthcare**: AI is being used to diagnose diseases more accurately and faster than human doctors, predict outbreaks, and develop personalized treatment plans.

      2. **Education**: AI-powered tools can provide personalized learning experiences, helping students learn at their own pace and in their own style.

      3. **Transportation**: AI is advancing autonomous driving technology, which could reduce accidents caused by human error and make transportation more efficient.

      4. **Environment**: AI can help monitor and combat climate change by optimizing energy use, predicting natural disasters, and improving conservation efforts.
However, the ethical and societal implications of AI cannot be ignored. It's crucial to develop and enforce regulations that ensure AI is used responsibly, transparently, and ethically. This includes addressing issues such as:
      - **Bias and Fairness**: Ensuring AI systems do not perpetuate or amplify existing biases.
      - **Privacy**: Protecting individuals' data and privacy in the age of AI.
      - **Accountability**: Defining who is responsible when AI systems fail or cause harm.
      - **Job Displacement**: Addressing the impact of AI on employment and ensuring support for those affected.
Rather than making AI development a criminal act, a balanced approach is needed. This involves fostering innovation while implementing robust regulatory frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure that AI development aligns with human values and ethical principles.
For further reading on the ethical implications and benefits of AI, you can check out resources from reputable organizations like the [World Economic Forum](www.weforum.org) and [MIT Technology Review](www.technologyreview.com).

For the traditional menu instead of Copilot do the following:
Short Press (Tap): Quick light press of the key triggers traditional menu. This action is similar to how you would use the old menu key.
Long Press (Hold): Holding key for slightly longer activates Copilot. Distinguishes from short tap for menu

I actually did find the Copilot in Edge useful a couple of times - surprisingly so as it zeroed in on a correct response to a very technical question much more adeptly than I would have had I needed to manually search dozens of articles myself.

@@jonathanparle8429 I have found it synthesizes complex information well. The limitations are in what it's programmed to search. Some topics seem very unbiased and other topics are very biased. But if I pose a question related to the biased response, it does more research and then synthesizes that into the response.

Hi, Leo, and thanks so much for the tip. I work with Windows 11 PCs, and the thing that bugs me is the slide over news thing that pops up whenever I accidentally slide my mouse pointer over to the far left of the Taskbar, where then weather, news bug is. Is there a way a non-admin user can click that thing off? It covers needed work-related info on the screen when it pops up. I simply don't need it at all. Thanks again!

I must have done something about a month ago about Copilot. I didn't like it because it forced its way into my computer. My own memory hasn't been the greatest in the past year or so. I don't see the Copilot icon or the control bar vertically positioned to the far right on my screen so maybe I completely got rid of it, or only hid it. How can I really know if I completely got rid of "Big Brother" or not? It seems this video teaches you to hide it. Have you heard of any videos that tell you how to completely get rid of it?

Just use an uninstaller program like Wise uninstaller or Revo uninstaller and if if won't uninstall by clicking uninstall use Force uninstall on wise uninstaller go get rid of it. I won't be updating to W11. as the PC I have doesn't support W11. So that's in my favour. What I do with any new Windows PC is download Brave browser and wise uninstaller then go through the programs that are on the machine and force uninstall them, then if I want to I can go through the registry looking for folder for the programs I've uninstalled, they will be empty, and delete them from the registry.

Windowshitification is in a full swing, removing this component might break your system. If not now then in the future. And therefore I run Linux on my other machine and will convert my main one too, after Win10 loses support. For now I made the Win10 stay on 22H2, and the Win11 on the go on the usb I use on the Linux machine to stay on 23H2. I will only use Windows when absolutely necessary.
