I started my calligraphy journey around my 8th grade and I was only using the back part of my notebook and some regular ballpens. I used to do faux calligraphy and I only started to use brushpen a year after when my mom gave me a brushpen set on my 16th birthday. I'm a leftie so I find it hard to do the thick and thin strokes using a brushpen but I always practice using these drills cause there's always a room for improvements as they say. Thank you for this, Artillery! Tomorrow is my 17th birthday, hope I can win your giveaway.
well, i just focused on the down and up strokes, I developed that because i think that's really an important element. Afterwards, i explored different fonts, played with color, and made my creativity flexible. Thank you for the tutorial! It really helped

Starting on a blank paper can be intimidating, so before I start to write on it I think carefully on how my calligraphy style would be. I draft it our first to a scratch paper then explore on how can I do another style because I often ended up with a faux style. So I always watch calligraphy works on UA-cam gladly I found this video tutorial, it really helps me a lot. Practicing is great way to improve calligraphy.
When I started calligraphy I only used a normal pen. I usually do faux calligraphy. Since I really love it, I save my money for me to buy some calligraphy materials for an upgrade. I did my best for me to learn and until now I am still learning for me to grow and to enhance my skills.
I started my journey with faux calligraphy because I didn't know yet about thin and thick strokes. Then, I started watching video tutorials. At first, I felt that there was no improvement but after sometime the difference began to show. When I was starting, I used crayola thick markers then supertips. I'm not an expert yet so I am excited with the free download of the worksheet and vodeos. Thanks! #artillerycalligraphychallenge

when i started getting into calligraphy, i used pencil to practice the thick and thin strokes (downward = thick and upward = thin). Right after I managed to get used to the technique, i started to use hard tip brush pens and dip pens (which is available to your shop) then the rest is History lols.
