Grand Soir is amazing stuff. If I’m dressed up fly going to see a play or musical, Grand Soir is my first choice to complete the look. So elegant. Ambre Sultan be s really nice but the oregano could make or break it for some. Ever try Ambre 114, Ambre Tabac or Tango?
@@TheFragranceConnoisseurs have you tried Kalemat black as well? That’s been on my try list for a while. If so what’s the difference between original and black?
I have tried Kalemat Black extensively. Here is my opinion. It is a bit darker than Kalemat. However, the opening is surprisingly sweeter than Kalemat. The difference is that it is less honey and more of a candied fruit in the opening. The Oud gives it a darker base and the amber does not come in until the mid and dry down. I have a good decant of it and plan to get the actual bottle because it is not redundant IMO.

I have tried Daniel Josier’s Ambre Tabac and I do like that. It is in the same vibe as Kalemat, so I have not picked up a full bottle yet.

I just received a 100 ml of Ambre Sultan. I really like it so far. I am doing some full wearings and will probably make an update to my Amber video.
