I was looking for a review from one of the bigger channels yesterday when I received my bottle in the mail from FragranceBuy. Shout out to Fragrancebuy for delivering on Sundays!! I too am glad that "one of us" is the first to review the fragrance. I really like it, but didn't have any experience with the former Gucci fragrance. It was a tough one to describe for me, because I couldn't smell any of the indicated notes, but I really like it. The bottle screams green, earthy, herbal...but I see it more of a dark, bold, night or cold season scent. Something about it gives me hints of old school Drakkar with a smooth twist. I need a little more time with it to give my own official review. I'm so glad I jumped on the Pre-sale as well. Great review sir. You've earned a new subscriber. Hopefully more people will gravitate to this review as you are the first for this new frag. 👍🏾
If this smells like Drakkar, I might as well get an updated Drakkar flanker. It's in the same price range as this clone dupe. Thanks for the feedback on this one.
I really can not see how you could never smell something and compare something you can smell to something you never smelled and say it is 85%. That is total BS. Seriously? I would not recommend this Fomo to anyone. It's not worth the price I paid, and not special in any way. It's ok, and that's all. I was dumb enough to buy all four!
@@M_Ladd It is not that I have never smelled Gucci Envy, it is that I do not have it now. I was very transparent on that fact. I also said that I was going off of memory. If it is not for you, I respect your opinion.
Just received it. OMG this is so good... I never tried Gucci Envy, but I see why it was so popular back in the years. It hits with a pepper and eucalyptus burst, almost medicinal, like a cough candy smell, but mellows down soon to extremely pleasant, fresh and very masculine barbershop notes. Doesn't feel outdated to me, but it definitely has some classic cologne vibe in it. It has some resemblance to Dior EAU Sauvage, it plays in the same league.
It wasn't the boss fragrance of the time. It was worn by all types of club mugs and other heathens of the time. If a girl woke up after a one night stand and the guy was gone, most likely her sheets and pillow still smelled of envy lol. Anyways, i have the original still and just ordered this. I'll be back when i hey it to see how close it is. Every clone I've tried so far had been lack luster.

Okay I've worn this twice already since getting it. Stays well over 8+ hours, strong projection for the first 1-1/2ish hours so very decent performance. As to compare with the original, it's actually closer to the first edition of envy. If you didn't know the original underwent a reformulation while still in production with the first version being more dense and spicier. The Fomo gets a touch sweeter in the dry down than the envy but that's fine. I've tried numerous clones of envy and they just end of getting shelved and collecting dust. This is great stuff.

@@ChefNut82 I did state that it was based on memory. I am not going to pay $200+ for a half used bottle that could be bad. I can say it is good in its own right if you think that is a more accurate answer. I have had it in the past.
Nowadays, the fragrance clones are getting very very close to original. I'm very impressed by Maison Alhambra TF clones. Didn't try FOMO yet, but I heard a lot of good about this brand.
@danielbelik fomo is a great brand. Good quality too. I don't have this or the grand soir clone, but I have the other 2. For 30$ it doesn't get much better, I want to try this, need a spicey green
