I like seeing both together as a comparison. I personally have been so unhappy with ipsy that I’m not trusting to get their plus box. If I consistently see thinks I know I would love then I’d consider more, but boxycharm is cheaper and they never disappoint.
I am so glad to hear other opinions :). I cancelled my Boxy cause I kept getting products I did not like. Ipsy bags have been a little more "safe" for me because of the 10 dollar price.

I cancelled Ipsy as well a while back before they started the full size thing bc the sample stuff was just getting to where I wasn't using them and all of those makeup bags I was giving away so I switched to Boxycharm and I absolutely LOVE IT! And now like every 3 months u can pay more and get like 11 full size products!!! I can't wait for that! My first one arrives in Dec. I would like to see the Ipsy full size thing compared to Boxycharm and then a reg Boxycharm compared to the upgraded one. That would b awesome. And I love the bye bye under eye concealer from IT Cosmetics and the bye bye illumination powder foundation. No one ever does reviews on those! That is the best concealer and I have dry skin but even tho it's a powder foundation it like it just melts on ur face and u get such good coverage! I would love a review of those products bc no other beauty guru has done it. Thank u!
Shoot! My daughter and I have been subscribing to ipsy for over a year now and surprisingly our regular bag has gone up to $11 but we didn't even know about this deluxe box!!?? I'm shook! Btw this is my first time watching you, I love your personality and delivery. You have a new sub here! 💜
I like the comparison videos a lot! I have the glam bag plus as well and have honestly been super disappointed with last month and this month. If next month isn’t any better, I’m cancelling and going back to the regular glam bag. Boxycharm is cheaper and way better in my opinion.

I have a different IT palette. The colors are subtle but pretty.
I’ve had the Naturally Pretty palette for a while, in my opinion it is full of every transition shade you could need for any kind of look, I don’t really use it for eye looks on its own though.

How do you upgrade to Ipsy plus? Right now I have a regular Ipsy subscription because I’m much more interesting in getting full sized products. From the unboxing videos I’ve seen, I’ve liked the look of Ipsy Plus more than boxycharm but I don’t see an option to upgrade.
I got my first ipsy bag last month the regular one not the plus. I was happy with what I got especially for the price. So I plan on keeping it. I was thinking about getting the plus but I also subscribed to boxycharm this month & upgraded to boxylux.
I'm new to makeup & I got 3 girls 2 of them are old enough to start wearing makeup.
I thought these boxes would be a way for us to get started on our makeup collection & try different brands.
I just recently found out about these monthly boxes I can't believe how many different kinds their are!

My first glam bag plus is on its way. I can't wait. I wanted the BumBum cream really bad but im not getting it. Im getting the same version as you. I am not a fan of lip gloss but at least they are all pretty colors
I LOVE SLMissGlam brushes!!! Lol they are super beautiful but very pricey as a set. I have gotten quite a few through ipsy. I am done with ipsy though for now. I've been with them 3 years and rarely do they send me anything close to my profile settings. I started Boxycharm. I will miss ipsy though and their new deluxe box looks amazing.

So I just ordered ipsy original kits. I saw an offer to get the ipsy glam plus kits added on so I did. It said I signed up for both plans. Does that mean I will get 5 regular products plus 5 more full sized products every month?

I loved your video review. I have the regular ipsy subscription. Yet all my products where different. I got a primer,nailpolish, wet shampoo, mini blush, and eyeliner. I might convict to ipsy plus.

I get both but I got the it cosmetics palette and wow it's so hard to build up. But it's better suited for a beginner. But I'm loving the box so far

I tried the luxe and switched back I like having a bag every month let alone it more customized I mean when I get 5 of 7 offered items how custom is that really? I gave it two months and switched back. Yes you do get your money worth but I can’t afford both so had to choose what made me happier.

I got the Tarte blush palette which I was SO annoyed by because I had just bought a Tarte palette 2 days before and then they put that HORRENDOUS Dr Brandt eye "gel" (concrete) that I hated the first time around in Boxycharm. I hope next month is better that's for sure!

I disagree! I love Boxycharm. And now Boxycharm has an upgrade u can subscribe to that gets delivered every 3 months and u get the reg size the rest of the months. But on the upgraded months u get 11 full size products!!! Like at least 11! I'll b getting my first one in Dec and I can't wait!!! I'll never go back to Ipsy even with their full size thing. Boxycharm ships way better brands.
I def agree with you. The reg boxy doesn't even come close to the Plus bag, especially since they're sending sample sizes & repeats. So their die hard subbies keep trying to compare the Plus bag to the luxe box...which is double the price. Not a true comparison. Since the luxe box came out, the quality of the reg boxes has gone straight downhill. I was thrilled that Ipsy came out with the full size bag...and OMGosh..the brands are fantastic. :-) I hope you get off the waitlist in Dec. I think you'll love this bag.
I love both Ipsy & Boxycharm but i agree. Ipsy plus has killed it! It has matched me both times now & i dont think this months boxy was all that great! But i also got the luxe box in Sept & will again in Dec. Yes it has more products but its double the price too! Anyways, imma keep getting both for a while & see how they both turn out!

Thanks for the video Steph. I love lip glosses too! That eyeshadow palette is bigger than I thought it would be..can't wait until mine gets here. I am LOVING the Plus bag. I've gotten both of them. They are working hard to get everyone off the waitlist. Their timing of coming out with the full size bag couldn't have been better since boxy has gone downhill big time with the reg boxes. I will start by saying that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ipsy! I am, though, UBER confused about the bag. I only received one thing similar to yours, it was the foiled again eye shadow, which I am a huge fan of as well. But...that was about it. Like ALL your stuff was SO much better than mine. 😬🤭
I’m still givin a shout out to Ipsy either way! They never disappoint otherwise and I wonder if the things we get depend on the state we live in, our age, our skin tone, etc...🤷🏻♀️could be. Either way, I can’t even call that a complaint-I just wish I would have received those other products. Oh well. Waaah.
