Gutter Cleaning with Blower Tubes

I show me using the Makita Gutter Cleaninger with my blower.
Makita 191B03-8 Blower - Gutter Cleaning Kit.
Use for makita blower models XBU03 (with 191L13-5 Blower Nozzle), XBU02 and XBU04.
These kits of ~10 feet of polyethylene-type lightweight tubing is perhaps too expensive at $97 from places like amazon, ebay, acmetools, etc. But it is cheaper than calling gutter cleaning crew by far (usually about $250 per service) and these ground-bound methods are very safe to use. It makes a mess that can be cleaned up easily. You must wear a mask and headcover (or have someone hold a clear umbrella over you while you blow it out). You can use a ladder if necessary to reach higher gutters, but this can be dangerous and you can't move the blower tube far without re-positioning ladder repeatedly.
I'm not shilling for Makita; definitely not receiving any compensation from makita or anyone else for these vids. I'm just in a rut of showing off my makita crap.

I'm a new homeowner and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that my house have gutter guards installed. Definitely a good investment if possible.

gutter guards are a horrible idea. Over time they will become clogged and you'll have to replace them or they will create a condition such rainwater rolls right over them as if you never had gutters on your roof in the first place.
