So happy that i waited for the new model with the 75 cm bar. I use it very much for over a year now. Best hedge trimmer i have.

Excellent review. The weight factor is definitely a factor for time and ease of use for hedge trimmer consideration. I already have the 18v Makita platform so the features and quality of this new model you pointed out sold me. Thank you

Picked up the 36v string trimmer (the 2 handle one), and the 36v hedge trimmer. After using my 36v chain saw for a year - I’m super impressed with the dual LXT range.

Always great getting new tools but it will take something very special to make me switch from my Husqvarna 522HDR75X!

So 4yrs in, are you still happy with the 602, and recommend it? I am considering 602 or 741 (60cm vs 75 cm blade). Pft ;-)

What you have to take into account is the older model blades are not brand new and have most likely never been sharpened

Makita is the strongest, but husqvarna has the best weight distribution.
      I prefer the husqvarna

36v would have a bit more torque

@@zarrow50 the 36v has shorter blades to help it clip in smaller bite requiring less torque. I’m interested to see what your blades on a 36v would do.

@@mikeevans6589 I don't know much about it just commentating on this video. I see some manufacturers are doing 60v tools
so the weight will make the tool quite heavy to use. I like the range of makita tools.
