  • Even before owning my shovelhead, I knew a springer front end would be on my list of things to do.
Instead of jumping straight into a springer front end, I decided to test out other setups first. The original wide glide - narrow glide - and now the springer.
The wide glide was too stockish and heavy so it didn't last long before I switched over to the narrow glide. The narrow glide setup was a fun stage. I enjoyed the skinny, light, and go fast look it had but it was really the springer that I truly look forward to.
So I decided to part out my narrow glide setup and treat myself to a brand spanking new 18" springer front end from Throttle Addiction.
    www.throttlead...
Let's see how long this stage last...Stay tuned for more updates!

I'm seriouslly considering on fabricating a springer on my own, i want to try my skills on that, really love the vibe that they give to the bike. Your vids are a huge inspiration for me

Those handlebars reminds me of a friend who built his bike through winter, with the highest/widest apehanger just to realize that the door was to narrow! He didn't hit the doorframe with his knuckles, fast reaction! But his handlebars went bent like that! And then the bike tilted and fell on the left side, still idling, and the open 3" belt made the bike moving towards those other bikes standing there, ready for a new season! Yep, three of them fell too. That experience cost him alot of beers!

It looks like a Zero Engineering springer from Japan. I believe there is only one importer(in Vegas, Shinto Customs) at least that's all I could find when I ordered mine. Very high quality, real bearings in the lower rockers with grease points but they are in the $1600-1800 range just for the springer (no top clamp, bearings, axle etc.)
