      Lots of weight. Kickstart is the beast, especial when racing a battery start, stock, computer-controlled street-legal (sort of) Street Dragster. I can beat you. HP/Pound uber alles.

    Nice to see some proper Vintage style Bobbers ... original Bobbers had flat bars and fat tyres of the same diameter front and rear. @ 6.01 someone didn't have their Petcock on the right setting and he stalled it when he came in to park! lol

I'll keep my fat tired EZ Chair on wheels for that kind of riding! And, my 1980 Honda CB900 Custom is in the process of becoming an absolute screamer of a cafe racer...got that angle covered too!

    I have a HD Sportster 48, I loved the big meaty front tire at first and the more I looked at it, the more I scratched my head,as in I don't get it. Is there any thing except the looks that makes such a chunky front tire better? I started looking at the Nightster and think the tire ratio is a better one for performance, what do you think?

    Why it's called Bobber?

    • @meliton60
      @meliton60 6 років тому +3

      A bobber, originally called a 'bob-job' from the 1930s through 1990s, is a style of custom motorcycle. The typical construction includes stripping excess bodywork from a motorcycle; removing the front fender, and shortening the rear fender, which is "bobbed" (as in bob-tail), and all superfluous parts removed to reduce weight. Thanks Wiki.
