The 'Nitty Gritty Law School'? This sounds like some sort of 'tinfoil hat', 'Freeman-on-the-land' scam institution, about as legitimate as the 'Trump University'! I would, moreover, hazard a guess that the speaker is not a 'lawyer' or an academic, as he might claim, but a fantasist and a crank. . . . . and to think that people believe and follow these wingnuts. Such credulity! We have so-called 'Common Law Lawyers' in my country and none of them is qualified in Jurisprudence; few of them have any academic qualifications whatever. They have read up from nutcase websites and books.

@@stephenhardy312 so what? This is education and you’re projecting your insecurity onto it. Sure, there’s endless amounts of idiots like you point out, but you apparently can’t recognize the philosophical level of truth and the rigor of the language he uses because you let your emotions rule you. One does not need to use his knowledge in order to recognize the value of it; this is the kind of knowledge people should not act on, but instead recognize that it points out very real things in the world which ought to make us pause and reflect, ought to make us question the foundations of what we call civilization.

*The Language Every Philosopher, Legal Professional and Linguist Should Know*
    1) Slang (learned before school)
    2) Formal English (learned in school... hopefully)
    3) Legal English (not learned in school and with varying proficiencies in law itself!)
Did you know that Civics was transitioned out of the curriculum of the school system during the years 1850 to 1950? It was replaced by 'American Government' (or something similar). Why is that important for philosophers, legal professionals and linguists?
That is what this thread is about. I will be adding to this thread over time as my understanding of this language grows.

Police are policy enforcers. Corporations use policies and nations use laws. The United States is a federal corporation defined under US code 3002 section 15. States are subsidiaries of the United States and municipalities are subsidiaries of the states. The 14 Amendment infers that citizens are subject to the United States. Birth Certificates and Social Security are forms of incorporating a person into the United States. Social Security is a pension and employee identification number. America is a land mass owned by the United States which is headquartered in Washington DC which was established as a sovereign municipal corporation through the 1871 District of Columbia Organic Act. The royal chartered Virginia Company is the basis for the United States.

Bill makes a great, revelatory statement in this presentation at the 23:36 or so, '...you have to develop an ability, if you're gonig to be effective in the common law, is the ability to say '2 plus 3 equals ...what? ...maybe you've never seen a five before? '
This is the Platonic approach, as he says, ' ..a reasoning process.' You have to be assume that NOTHING IN THE PROCEDINGS IS MEANINGLESS, AND ARBITRARY! As he says, '..every word has a meaning.' Applying this methodology shows why Mr. Thornton is so knowledgeable on the subject.

My whole life I've subscribed the idea that this was the most boring and pedantic subject imaginable. Boy, was I wrong!... about it being boring, anyway. Now that I find out that I don't have to be completely impotent in a courtroom, I want to learn as much as I can. Now I just need to find someone to explain Napoleonic Code to me since I live in Louisiana. I'm in my 20's and I just serve on a jury for the first time not too long ago, and I found the whole process very interesting. Now that I'm aware of the default legal status called "the citizen" that most people are duped into accepting, apparently by their own ignorance no less than the exclusivity of the legal system, my interest is thouroghly piqued.

Decentralized law is where freedom actually has a chance. Common law is still a practice of centralized law, which has failed us for the last 10,000 years. However, common law would become a new animal with some shared traits, though common law as it is now is without principle and dependant on precedent and public opinion.

Common Law is the term used to recognize a set of values and honor when dealing with others with regard to a dispute. The Concepts apply to every being who is cognizant and aware enough, to be able to resolve a dispute honorably. Kings/Queens Have no higher power, and if another King/Queen is some how harmed by the direct or indirect actions of another King/Queen, how is a resolution to be found when both feel they are in the right? Just because a Land, does not write in its codes/statutes/laws that it recognizes common law, does not mean that it does not exist.. !!! However I digress, If you watch the seminars, there is a from of GOVERNMENT that is completely Common Law.. This form of government is called a REPUBLIC.. Republican form of government - www.1215.org/lawnotes/lawnotes/repvsdem.htm

Volume is too low for this computer. Got to get speakers, and much of the print is blurry to make notes. Feel I am missing out on much but thank you and plan to watch this and the next one. Too much to learn and too little time. Got some dishonest maneuvering going on and want to file a tort agaisnt the person making the complaint and the State for putting their name as Plaintiff, since it belongs in Municipal court where there are ordinances that are not listed in the State complaint. Besides I was never served and did not even learn about the case until five months or more later. They sent a certified letter when the complainant lives behind me. He threatened me he would teach me a less for telling his 7 dogs for being out of control and barking at me when I am tending to my property. On and on. Court is being abused with help of authorities in small town who seem to want to get rid of the witness to the village thief, having been a victim as well. Protecting the thieves, profitable. Would make a good book. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

S Zee. I have never heard that and don´t know what it would even mean for Magna Carta to not be "valid". Are you saying Magna Carta was never signed by King John in 1215? While I believe it´s true that the "king" signed under duress, which might put into question whether it could be enforced between the barons and the "King", it has been ratified by millions of people since then. They ratified it by using it, and it´s still used today, just as we use other founding documents in America. Even the fake corporate "courts" of Anglo-American countries recognize it as authority (when forced to do so).

"COMMON LAW. That which derives its force and authority from the universal consent and immemorial practice of the people." Of the people, not one person. Therefore, a group of people (usually the entire populous) agree to the concept. If you complain, tough luck. Just saying common law is what you think it is will not effect the law to grant you rights you think you deserve. If you don't want to accept having to have a driver's license, then walk.

This is the real reason the War For Southern Independence was fought. All the states lost their sovereignty after the war. Central Bankers forced the Federal Government to Incorporate and the 14th amendment was enacted not ratified or signed into law by Andrew Johnson, Stewart signed it as Secretary of State. This created a US and State Citizenship until that time we were state citizens only. The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was enacted while half of Congress was on Christmas Vacation giving bankers control of our currency, and Our Income Tax. Income tax is paid to the Federal Reserve, its stockholders make billions and give the Treasury Half. The Privately Owned Federal Reserve also makes 6% on every dollar for printing the funny money.

'corporation,' 'government' these are just terms people use to avoid personal responsibility. They are DBAs. Just people 'doing business as' some 3rd party entity. A 'corporation' has to be incorporated by the 'government.' A corporation can not exist without the might of the 'government.' It is only individuals doing business and hiding their personal responsibility behind the violent force of the individuals who call themselves 'government.'
They are simply words created by psychopaths to obfuscate their true violent nature.

+Too Crunk perhaps you are confusing what I was meaning with the knowledge and understanding of how the forms and processes are currently handled in relation to how it was originally intended for a republic in common law. That paper does go into alot of those ideas it appears. nothing about the BAR existed in the beginnings of our systems of jurisprudence. well, the concept of People and Slaves ( now citizen ). . i admit, there is alot of information I do not know about.. The concept of people and their relationship to the government and state, and the functions of the state with regards to the decree of the people, and really understanding that relationship, has been my focus. As well and using that new understanding to motion the common law court for remedy.. The trickery and word games of attorneys, the BAR and other judicial corrupted methodologies, within the statutory system, do not apply to common law.. That does not STOP them from trying to apply it though.. i have researched 90% of bill thornton, and have talked with Judges and Common law professors about the information.. Personal Perception of what it is supposed to mean, is always an issue.. Understanding it used to be common Sense.. The simplicity of it has been bastardized, in my opinion.. My goal is always to promote the truth and free will of true freedom and liberty.. . There are those with cases that bring up the "UNION DUES CARD" debate with regards to the DA, judge with great results.. John darash with National Liberty Alliance uses that info ALWAYS in his cases.

Since all "presidents" of the 13 Colonies were King John's relations, thus an inference of bias on the part of the judiciary/government in general, how is it your case laws and jurist quotes are all valid. That is to say, are we dealing with the rule OF law or the rule BY law or lawfare

    • @leeburstroghm
      @leeburstroghm  10 років тому +2

You must ponder on the idea of perspective with relation to where the law was decreed.. for example.. there is a natural law ( generally agreed, decreed by god ) of gravity.. the law of gravity applies to all things.. So your real questions might be how does any man made law truly apply to any other man.. Again, looking back at the perspective of where that law came from. The genius of a republic, is that we are all kings.. With no subjects and none to Govern but ourselves. your laws truly only apply to only you when you decree a law of your own, or apply to others that are in your kingdom. This kingdom of North America has been confiscated by the Corporation the United States of America and entrusted to this trust to ensure the prosperity of the people.(the preamble to the constitution FOR the United states of America). You can choose to be subject, and consent to the laws.. i.e. I choose to stop at that stop sign or stop light, because I recognize its place to help ensure the safety of our fellow man.. It Originally really only becomes enforceable when someone else got hurt from your actions.. you run the stop sign, and kill some one.. now you did wrong.. However, out of ignorance and coercion, we are imprisoned/enslaved to follow Codes(of Conduct)/Statutes out of the ignorance of the public officials and officers.. Its all a big scam and we are born into it. The LAW truly comes from the consensus of everyone in a republic (indirectly through representation or of a True Jury of 25 or more of your PEERS/Kings/Sovereigns; or directly via you a king moving your court to seek remedy for being wronged in some way.)

    • @leeburstroghm

      mustaffa1611
That is because, what the dead people did is outline and come up with concepts and ideas, Philosophies.. The concepts do only apply if there are those who still support it.. In this case, the supreme court justices, the body of people, grand juries.. etc. ( www.nationallibertyalliance.org ) There are those who are trying to kill the concepts and ideas, however, it does require people to keep them alive. Every State is Required to be a republic. It is the understanding of what a republic is, and how to apply it to your liberty, that is important.

All governments are exactly the same. It doesn't matter what label you put on them. It doesn't matter if you call it a "republic" or a "monarchy" or a "democracy." Its all the same.
Governments are only people providing services on a violent compulsory basis. That's it. Its just people who are incapable of dealing with others on a peaceful voluntary basis in the marketplace like everyone else.

It does seem that the government bodies we know of today, do all seem to be nothing but coercion, and violence.. however, not all "Governement" is based on such concepts.. It does always come down to the kinds of people staffing the government. All the issues boil down to the people behind that staff the agencies, and the enlightenment, rather the lack thereof, that results in such tyrannical governance! In My opinion. This is why education and discolsure of truth should be the goal, for the benefit of all concerned!

He’s not wrong but he’s also not right. Common law federally is the process afforded to you statutorily or constitutionally. The constitution says common law because the enlightenment brought natural law to everyone and it was so popular in the interests of liberty that everyone followed common law to express the natural law
