- This is a review of a product that promises to 'bring the universe into your home' - it's a battery powered nightlight encased in a perforated drum that projects patterns of stars and dots onto your walls and ceiling.
The product is from BangGood.com - here's a link to it in their store: www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Ama... products came from - Навчання та стиль
Thank you for taking the time to make this review. I actually almost bought this for my little girl's birthday but luckily I saw your review first! It is too flashy and it doesn't rotate on its own. :O
I'm a 42 year old child! I love this! I like your reviews too. Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
LadybugJenn805 "42 year old child"? Glad I don't feel so childish now :D ..
Now you are 47 years old. The best age I like for woman. God bless you. I am 37
If you buy a DC4.5V power cord and plug it into the star master the cylinder should spin. Nice tutorial, thanks!
You need jedi powers to make it spin. For me this arrived broken and I had to open it and fix it.
Thank you so much for the review and honesty!
Brilliant review, thanks so much.
Great job, Mike!
thank you!
Have you revised any others like it, maybe with higher quality?
Thanks for showing us what to expect. I'm_so_ buying two of these. My little sister's afraid of the dark, so this'll be good. Thanks again.
Totally agree, it should rotate on it's own!!!
love your review!
Very useful mate, thanks
great review!!
Thanks!! This review is very helpful!
Thanks for the review! Mine was ordered a few weeks ago and should be here soon. I'm a big child and have a childrens lady bug with stars that I turn on every night in MY room. I was looking for something that didn't look so much like a childs toy. Heh. This will do!
Kelly Marney hey, how was that? I'm also looking for get one. My room isn't not so big. And it gets totally black when lights off. Will this work great?
I love these products. Wish I'd seen them 2 years ago! I'd have a made a zillion dollars.
Mine does not have that circular thingy. It has the hoop part, but no plastic disk.
So I bought one and the "Star" button requires you to hold it in in order for it to stay on. Did that happen to anyone else? Any way to fix it?
one question. where the hell do i get a cheap charger?? i camt find one
I've purchased one of these and happen to have a power cord that fits and it still does not spin. In fact I can barely get the lights working. What's worse is there's an odd, electrical burn smell after running it for 5 minutes. I have no idea what that is but to anyone considering this product: might be wise to spend it elsewhere.
You can get rechargeable variations of this now from around £20. Personally I prefer to pay a bit more for the rechargeable option, as I think it works out cheaper and better than constantly buying batteries, or having to keep changing them if using rechargeable ones.My pet peeve is items that gobble batteries.
i have an old car whose dome light no longer works (new bulb won't fix it) and i'm thinking abt attaching this upside down from my roof to use instead
Did it work ? I am planning to fix it on the centre storage console...hoping it will project on the roof. Wish to know your opinion
I have this cheap flimsy thing. You can't plug it in...unless you keep a computer in your bedroom. And it doesn't turn. Nor does it even come with any kind of instructions. Why does it display the months on the side? Is this just for show?
This thing had such horrible reviews on amazon that I'm surprised you said it worked so well. But its $5 so I figure I can take a chance and roll the dice. Thanks for the video.
Yeah - it's OK for little kids. The flashing LED effects got old very quickly, but the static white light produced quite a nice effect.
I figured my 2 year old nephew will get a kick out of it. 10 minutes of enjoyment is worth 5 bucks.
what do you mean the led effects go out? :O
FraterJ I just purchased and it is awesome compared to image from reviews ....but the downside and or negative part is just receiving not in anyway damaged from shipping but should be able to get refund if bought from correct seller but have a problem with shipping orders I made from China related items ...but if make it through that you will not be disappointed with your purchase !!!
It's only $1 here in Philippines
It does not clip bac together it eclips back together. Anyone? Im gona die alone.
I got you 😂😂
I ordered one but mine doesnt turn on even when putting in the batteries, and it did not come with an addaptor either.
I've got two in the mail, both do not work. I put in an adapter which it does not come with, and I also got the electrical burn smell and it still did not work. =( I ordered from 25 Mainstreet and asked for a discount since I found it was a lot cheaper on ebay. Not worth it! There needs to be a more expensive quality one somewhere.....
wow sounds scary
Sara Thyng Same here, the box it came in was full of dents and folds, and the light itself was broken, the plastic ring broke off and the patterns fell. Not to mention a huge crack on the container
Gotta be careful with the constant blinking lights because it can cause seizures and or bad headaches.
so... it's no worth it :(
In Philippines it's only $1
Please reply ... Can we use this in a big room, (a classroom) without having the stars being blurred? Does this project on the roof ?
Thanks for the video
I don't think it will work as well as you need in that context - it's only really effective in a smallish, very dark room.
AtomicShrimp thanks for your answer .. If i buy it, i'm sure i'm gonna turn off the lights and close the curtains to have a dark room, but the room is pretty big and i don't want the stars to be blurred, not clearly visible or something like that.
Could you advise me of a good star projector that i could buy on the internet plz?
Sorry, I don't know of any others to recommend.
AtomicShrimp have you tried it?
Tried what?
I am so sad :( mine doesn't work
I recently bought it, mine didn't come with said wire. But I did acquire batteries. Any Who, I was wondering why every month is printed on it. It kinda bugged me. Anything? Anyone?
+Alanah Masters I'm just here reading reviews to see if I want to get this but I'm thinking they have different months on their because the star patterns change monthly
Watching in 2020.
Didnt it come with charger? Mine was bought by my brother but I dont know if Im the only one who didnt get the plug/charger
Battery operated
You can buy this at the dollar tree js - Yes the dollar store :P
please, what is the cord for again?
If you don't have batteries its to plug it in
+myk13 thanks 🙂
the months of the year on it are so you can choose the constellation of stars from different times of year.
I got mine similar to that. I bought new batteries then used it overnight but unluckily on the next morning It wasnt working anymore. What'd ya think is the problem? can anyone help me??
Probably the light bulb burned out.
+johnny sze I dont think so. Because that was the second time I encountered the same problem. The light bulbs are still working on the second time around after I inserted new batterries.
I bought mine on Groupon. It has never worked. I was so dissappointed.
Angenell Jones maybe you can exchange it for a new one. warranty?
Tnq sooo mch..n My lamp isn't rotating how i can
It doesn't rotate (at least not on batteries) - someone else said in the comments that if you plug in a 4.5v adaptor into the jack plug, it will spin. I don't have this review sample now, so I cannot test it.
@@AtomicShrimp we need to buy the 4.5V adaptor? Kinda wastinhmg if we keep buying batteries instead of plug/charger
Does anyone know why it has months written on it? :)
im curious too
I wanna know also
It could depict the visible constellations during certain times of the year.
They have no real function. It just a marketing trick.
I have one. but idk why it says the months on it. can someone tell me?
+Emmy Bug Probably has something to do with
Astrology ...
It has to do with Astronomy Star Month Changing
+Corri Dixon wtf
I don't think it's really worth it. Mine already had its "STAR" led go out. Only the flashy ones were still working which I don't really like.
I used it for a while as a night light and one of its leds just suddenly decides to break. Oh well.. Guess I'll go look for a different star projector.
Led's are easy to replace, plus they are cheap asf
Sort these comments by newest and you'll find mine regarding more modern variations of these.
I’ve tried all different batteries and it will not turn on
Have you tried double A s if not then it might be the bulbs
How to use usb in this lamp plz share
This product has no USB connection
AtomicShrimp tnq soo muchh n what can v do with that cnnectr wire n how can it help us
i saw this at shopee PH and i am thinking of buying it and i saw a cheap price of $2 up to $4 or $5. is this a good product?
No. Go to the Dollar Tree Store and get a string of lights for a buck and put in a flasher. Hang that up and you get something that works and doesn't need the batteries replaced constantly. There is something wrong with the battery holders so that you have to hold the middle battery at an angle to even get it to work.
where did you got the batteries?
Anywhere. They were just AA size batteries.
ok thankyou so much
rather poor with no power cord either. I thought it rotated
Thank you I thought mine was broke as it did not move lol.
only lamp? not speaker?
dreamingirl16 not a speaker
what's the function of USB port there?
What USB port? I didn't mention anything about a USB port in the video. There isn't one.
vaya mierda! jolin q desilusión!!!
I bought this and it's fine but I didn't pay $5.00 I paid 23.00 its as cheap as u all say. Came with usb plug and can go into the wall if u have a plug that has a usb on it. i didnt expect much for 23 dollars lil disappointed to know u paid 5 :(. we turn on at night when we sleep, sometimes. I have a grandson will probably go in a stocking for xmas tbh fo him cheap enough for parents to mess with and can be put up high. Finding out about the flashing lights and seizures and headaches just made me not want to leave it on for a long time. My grandson may like this so here is what I will do...I will recomment back with an update from my grandson for all of you ...I paid $23 grrr
ODDJOBS FORJILL woohh. 23 dollars, that's quite expensive. i saw this for only 2 dollars (cheapest) up to 5$. i am now thinking if i will buy this lamp. i saw this at SHOPEE PH. it like amazon but cheaper prices...
It is not exact star map so i will not buying it.
No offence but this is a crap review, when am i gonna be shining it onto a piece of paper 5 inches away, show me it on the walls?!
As I tried to explain, the camera just doesn't have the same sensitivity as the eye - the effect that the camera can see on the paper is similar to the effect the human eye can see on the walls
It isn't good enough to show how it works on the walls. There is something wrong with the battery holders so that you have to hold the middle battery at an angle to even get it to work.
Wow that looks like crap.
