What I'm most perplexed about in Sam's story is not how long it took you to ask the girl if she had a boyfriend. But the fact that she said YES to a DATE with you, having a boyfriend. That was a date!! Having drinks and late night walks and cute moments is too intimate for two people who don't know each other like that. Jeez.

Sam yeah that Grand Central whispering from different sides in that specific spot in GC is definitely a romantic thing.
When I went with my partner to Grand Central for the first time for his bday (btw he is a MTA train mechanic), he showed me this. It was definitely a romantic gesture and on the train home we said that we were falling in love with each other. So I'm definitely colored by my own experience here...
But I think it's possibly kinda like the right person, but the wrong time type situation.
Please remove the whiteboard, it makes it so much harder to understand the story 😭

Totally agreed. It was an ex not a cheating thing, they were teenagers and she was incredibly apologetic and continues to be. Also so annoyed they kept saying the bf wasn’t shit talking Eve when he completely was. He was judging his gf’s choice to be her friend and badmouthing her to his boy. I had a situation where I had no idea I was being flirted with. A best friend (I even stood in her wedding) would send sexy pics to a group snap (3 girls) and we would gas her up, as one does. Apparently to her that was flirting because she sent just me some straight up nudes 🙃 I really thought it was just girls gassing each other up. We're both bisexual but I didn't feel that way about her & I have a partner who is NOT into group situations. We're no longer friends 🫤
