Lovely to see the show. It made me think back to when I was taught to knit by a couple of women in my village who made items for their families as it was too expensive to buy them. fast forward (too many years) and they would have been amazed by the many colours and types of yarn now. progress.., but I will forever love the memories of the chatter and laughter while they taught me the basics
Delightful! I love visiting the yarn shows with you. For the last three years my yarn show plans were dashed by Covid. But, this year, I’ve booked a flight to Portland, Oregon, for the Flock and Fiber Festival. Thanks to vicarious travels with you, Ali, I know what to expect… Going with lots of $$$! 😜 All that glorious YARN. 🧶 Thank you, Ali, for the joy and comfort you bring to our lives, by sharing yours. 💖 Carola on Morro Bay (California)🐳
I've never been to a yarn show, and since I'm now rather handicapped I probably never shall . But I SO much enjoyed 'walking around ' with you!! Thank you very much ❤
You did an amazing job covering the yarn show. I usually cannot watch podcasters visiting shows, because they are not interesting. You took us through the show at a perfect pace and I want all the yarn. 😂😂

Thank you Linda! Sorry to have missed you, I saw you in the other vlogs! I can’t believe I missed the meet up, time seemed to move at a strange pace (yarn fumes?!) and I lost track of time 🤦🏻♀️ Fingers crossed for next time! 🤗

You might not have a cat, but a cat has you! Thank you for filming these shows so thoroughly and beautifully. I always feel like I'm there with you when I watch. So many lovely yarns and people. Makes me hope I get the chance to visit the UK someday.
I can't believe I didn't see you there.. I was very focused on all the yarn squishing though 😅 So glad you enjoyed the show, it really was a fantastic day, and it made my little crafty heart happy to see so much crocheting represented there amongst the vendors and customers. I'm still tempted to make a granny hexi for a stash busting project. Hopefully you'll make the journey next year, I've already started saving for 2024..might even get tickets for both days! x
I’ve never been to a yarn show, so thank you for taking us along with you and the lovely Dan. Gorgeous yarns and a lovely array of stalls. Love your purchases, I’ve always wanted to try needle punch so looking forward to you showing us that project. Have a wonderful week, stay safe love and hugs xx
