The Cerium SV that I have is a couple years old, and last year they updated it. gave it 1000 fill power instead of the 850 that mine has. However, the older version like mine was actually a lot puffier and warmer than the newer version. This year it has not been available, at least in the US. Maybe it will pop back up some time.
@@meandmyjackets Thank you for the answer, I couldn't stand it and yesterday I ordered Thorium AR, I hope it will meet my expectations. In winter, good job, this channel helps a lot, I'm slowly becoming a fan of this brand, this will be my 4th jacket
are you a private person doing this? are you a shop owner? do you buy and keep all of these jackets? or do you just order for the videos and just return ?
The Cerium SV is warmer than the Thorium AR, But as far as weight, they are both very similar. Not much different. Holding the two, I may even tend to say that the Thorium AR may even be slightly heavier, but it's real close.
@@Scouseking I saw that here in the US as well. I'm curious to learn more about it. It says that it's 1000 fill down, my SV is 850. And it's a lot cheaper than what mine was. (450.00 USD It was originally 575.00 USD). I got mine on the outlet discounted.
@@meandmyjackets yeah Ino I am going to buy it very soon just waiting for the right colour that they have to offer with the new 1 being 1000 down am guessing it’s warmer than the older version ? Is the cerium sv the same material as the LT cerium on the out side of the jacket ?
At the present time it's not available. You never know if it will be around again sometime in the future. It's also been on the outlet as well as the regear site from time to time.
Love all of your vids! I bought an Alpha SV because of your review on that piece… 🙏🏽
Awesome hardshell. It doesn't get better than that!
Great videos. Keep them coming.
Thank you, I will do my best.
Zipper is thinner to help with stuffing/packing and obviously saves a little weight too
Exactly. 🙂
Excellent review of your jackets. Can't seem to find the SV in the UK.
It's not available here now either. But sometimes it can found in the regear or outlet sites. Hopefully sometime Arc'teryx will bring it back.
Very informative, just bought my first arcteryx rain jacket and am looking for a down.
Awesome, thank you. I hope the video helped you out!
@@meandmyjackets it sure did, think the Thorium AR would be perfect. Am going to try one for right size and wait if i can get one with a discount.

Hello, which one would you recommend between Therme parka or Thorium hoody?
I have not tried the Therme parka yet, but hope to review it in the near future.

Great, the Thorium is a nice piece. I'm glad to hear that you find the channel helpful. @@1Unknown3
What is the black one you had on in the beginning?
It is actually a dark blue Kyanite LT now called the kyanite lightweight. One of my favorite pieces!
Hey lengthwise is the LT closer to the waist than the AR or is it the same?
Nice thanks very informative
