If you feel like your missing context, the glossary for enemies is more of a collection of short stories. All together they provide context for the entire area and the motivations for everyone involved.
I think it is because people in the West may not know the original myth, so having him refer to wukong as 'brother' might make people confused on who he is referring to, since no-one who doesn't read the book can pick out that specific form of address.
Most fun i've had watching a black myth wukong playthrough.. please keep posting! I love these and the context you're giving that most other youtubers have not given
This is by far the best playthrough of this game currently on UA-cam. Keep it up bro. You're doing great work. And I'm excited to see what you play after this!
Funnily enough, when doing the macaque transformation section, you can go through it entirely without killing any of the “puppets”. That makes it so the transformation doesn’t get the wings or anything in that section. Not sure if yellowbrow’s dialogue changes according to that, but that’s how I did it, just hopping between the enemies.
I redid the section, and it seems to be more that you can avoid the subsequent transformations by dodging a specific queue from Yellowbrow instead. A shame it’s not tied to killing the puppets or not
Have you watched BanditGames' Lore of the Bosses series? I was blown away by all the backstory some of these bosses have that you won't know unless you read the game journal and know the relevant Journey to the West stories. Honestly, highlight recommend if you haven't checked them out already!
Transform into Yin Tiger, hold block until focus is full, activate Windwalker with the Immobilize hot key. Attack speed goes through the roof. Thank me later.
I hated this boss so much. On chapter 5 and this is still prob the hardest boss ive fought. Took me 3 days and countless hours to beat him. The auto loss of health in an uncontrollable cutscene sent me into a rage I have never felt. After hearing your explanation of his backstory it makes sense why he was hard as hell lol
Just found your channel, binged the last vids was so hype to see the upload!!! p.s did you do the fox side quest? i think it has to do with chapter 2 animation, not sure tho.
Missable stuff in chapter 4: There will be a boss in a cacoon with 6 arm on his back. you have to remove 4 arms by hitting his back. There are 3 talismen get them and fight a secret boss before you fight the chapters final boss. In the secret area of this chapter kill the 2 sidebosses before doing the main boss, otherwise you will miss 1 very good gourd and 1 transformation.
6:38 yeah he's not hard cause he got nerf. I you fought him pre-nerf you'd probably be stuck at him for a while. They did over nerf him cause even at NG+++ and above people are saying he dies too quickly still.
Why the kid Buddha is a kid is because the actor who played as that Buddha died in 2015, and if he reincarnated, he should be at around 9 years old. Just what I read from some people that Game Science did that out of respect to the original actor.
Yin Tiger transformation goes even crazier when you use his skill instead of the heavy attack at full charge. He is one of my favorite bosses for sure, top 3 easy.
You missed a lot in this chapter. I highly recommend you to come back to this chapter after u get all relics before finishing the game to get the true ending.
I’m with you it is a good game but it’s a 9 out of 10 it doesn’t exactly innovate the genre the frame rate drops are a issue controller vibrations suck and it’s just a little too quiet they needed a level up npc like souls used to do imo I know this comment will get hate but god of war was just ya know instant game of the year this needed 3 months of cooking and feels like a lot of cut content post chapter 4 tbh great game 9-10 it’s seems like nit picking but those things I mentioned are what makes a 10 a 10
Every temple or sculpture that is incredibly detailed was scanned by Game Science. If I remember correctly, they visited around 12 locations.

The amount of info in that journal is staggering lol
@@braydenkemper1707they have a poem and a folk tail for EACH AND EVERY character
This is not a game . This is art
That intro went so hard for no reason I appreciate it
I appreciate the immediate catch of Bajie’s use of 師兄. It bugged me a lot that English translates it just as his name.

You missed a quest in the pagoda. He’s in one of the prison cells and wants the captain spirits. It give you a really good reward too btw
You should go to find the melon field in the valley of ecstasy and find the spellbinder spell just like the tv show!

I love how they keep "yaoguai", "loong" instead of translate them.

Best pig in fiction overtaking even Pumba
been loving ur playthru and hearing ur perspective on the game/story!
you told the story about the watermelon field and the writing in the hand but didn’t look for it in the game 😢
I realized Jin star was definitely connected to the first dragon but the way you explained it makes this fight way cooler for me
I’m not sure how I feel seeing a Chinese man yelling Jesus Christ at black myth wukong 😂😂
Anyone else here for the mid session chinese lessons.
Keep it up bro! I like your content! 💜
Just got on lunch break. Perfect.
You also missed another side quest that give you a spell. It’s the one for the treasure hunting guy

There is a mod that turns the dragon into a chillet forom Palworld
Yin Tiger is so damn hard and over tuned for being that early.
6:35 Oh... I guess I have no patience. I was stuck on this guy longer than I was stuck on Tiger Vanguard.
Been waiting for a new vid
