Had a discectomy 6 months ago and have this exact problem. No pain at all during the test and pain subsides when I stand hurts when i bend. Question is: how often do i do this? Reps and days per week? I figure its different for each person but where do I start?
@@RobPT thanks!. I am going to give it a try for a few weeks. Surgeon sent me to PT where I rode a bike for 20min and stretched. I am very active that didn't do shyt. Gonna try this slightly more aggressive stretching. thanks.

Can you damage the nerve by stretching too aggressively?
yes this is why its a repeated motion and not a sustained hold, same concept as a nerve glide in UE's
