1955 Chevy series 2 will the fire wall need to be cut for LT1 with 8 speed trans ???

Why Wildwood instead of RoadsterShop’s Baer brakes? How did you come to choose 3.90 gears.
Roadstershop used to use Wilwood.
Gears based off of the 8 speed auto, tire size etc.
