Additionally, Turbo Granny looking out for young women who were about to be SA'd is why Turbo Granny possessed Okarun and went through the cell phone when Momo was being attacked in episode 1. Like Turbo attacked Okarun on the assumption that he was there looking for vulnerable women to SA and took his banana to prevent him from ever being able to. Granny had a code and stuck to it, and as much problems as she caused these two, she actually wanted to look out for Momo.

I really love how the battle is set up in a way that makes the viewer understand it. Turbo Granny runs at 100 km/h, so Momo and Okarun catch a train that moves faster than that. But then Turbo Granny catches up, because the railway is not a straight line and the train has to slow down for turns. But then now Turbo Granny falls neatly into the trap, because Momo just has to hold her in place with her psychic power just long enough for the train to exit the county. There's no constant clashing of swords or exchange of kicks and punches, just opponents trying to out-maneuver each other. I hope the other battles in this series are like this too.
it's very "in your face" kind of story telling tho which is not bad because it's not meant to be taken seriously. I once saw a comment saying this show is like the anime ver of Regular Show and Scooby Doo and it's probably the perfect description for this show.

They highlitghed how they would defeat Trubo Granny in the previous EP. When Seiko (Momo's gradma) was talking about how her powers come from the god oh the land. She show a map. You can clearly see a ticker line going from Granny's turf for a little bit crossing insine of Seiko's turf. And that's where she set the barrier.
I was a bit worried as episode 3 was a super slow burn but man, 4 was just non-stop action. I see this being the next big series with these characters and story.. And from what I hear, the characters coming in the next episodes are just as amazing.. I am so hyped for this. Also, quick translation help, Sayonara is roughly translated as goodbye but it's usually used to hint that both people won't meet again for a long time if at all. So it's genuinely quite sweet to see them both feel so conflicted about saying it before changing it to "see you tomorrow".
In the dub they made it more apparent that both of them were questioning what kind of "goodbye" was being stated. Rather it was goodbye for good goodbye for now. Glad Momo didn't leave it up to chance.
