😂 that transition to six months later. All I was thinking was take the whole thing off
Hey mann yall kick ass on that ralay. You may have pulled that hammy but you didn't give up.. Great job
Weld your t-handle on those bolts . Use a hammer tighten them and loosen them. Works good when a hurry or repo'ing
Now you know damn well.....😂you was supposed to stretch & prepare EARLIER than it appears you didn't do!
That #bBody though!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍
You got to have them weld a receiver into the middle of the back of it that way you can tow trailers and stuff like that with it in the tow bar
Great video, as usual! You should install the Hydra Chip on your tow truck. It will do miracles by enhancing the performance of that old reliable 7.3L Powerstroke. You won't regret it. Blessings to you, my brother! 🙏🏾👊🏾
You can also wear chains on the end of them that way they can only go to the end you can do change with two clever socks on them and that way they just go and to the end that's it
Get a torch, heat it up and bend it back in place.
Take care of dat Hemi man!! Great job at the race!!
Used a 10lb sledge to get mine open lol. Good work brother
It’s coming together 💪🏽
Try a wire wheel on drill to clean the rust off with out spending a ton of money on those discs
When you get through cleaning your wheel lift arms you should give them a thin coating of wheel bearing grease so that you don't have that problem in the future.
Taking and have a little heat put on it and bend it back in place
Chain them together or to the lift tow bar with chain and safety hooks or loops
10 toes make you couple tee bolts and then you can turn with your hands to tighten
You need to pull them things offering sand them get like a fiber disc or a wire brush on a wheel on a grinder get a wire wheel for that knock all that rust off of it cuz the only thing is going to do is going to keep doing the same thing what you need to do is exactly that take some axle Grease take some heavy axle Grease so I won't do that again see the inside you can leave you know you can try to get that one clean but I doubt it you got to find something to try to go down there and clean that one bottom line is cleaning the outer one coding on some acid refill it'll slide easier and get you some grade 8 bolts to go into those two bolts that you need to replace
11:37 🤝🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏽
Just something to keep in mind weekly grease it every week like we had to for the city equipment if you the operator you got to check it before you use it
Get some 5th wheel grease for the tow bars
Put some weld primer on them welds they want rust so fast
You know what.... Thats a damn good idea. it didnt even cross my mind. I'll do that tomorrow
Great job on the work. Has it rained a lot since you did the grinding on those lifting forks. Because you don't want that rust dust sitting on top of the Impala
Yes, rained pretty good 2 days later
The sleeve is supposed to stop like the other one. There should’ve been a long bar with a hook in it that prevents it from coming off. You can use the L arm to move your stuff around the yard. 30:43 that’s for the ratchet handle. Some people bolt the ratchet to the L arm. When you’re towing a vehicle on the wheel lift you don’t have to tighten the bolts on the wheel grids cause the weight of the vehicle will hold them in place and the wheels will be strapped to the L arms. When you’re empty on the wheel lift just slide the grids closed and you can tighten the bolts all the way in and it will lock them from sliding.
I saw the long har with the hook inside the passenger side grid. It's definitely missing from the driver side one, though 😬
@@10TowsDownTowing it’s OK because when you’re not using them, you can slide the grids all the way closed, then tighten the bolts into the hole.
It’s bent but will get the job done til you get new one
Mannn Kj if you don't find you a vice or metal bender 😂
Way to go Kj, keep improving and learning
The same welding guy you used can straighten that L bar back out
Just get the L bar heated up and fixed.get some round rod and weld it to bolts. Then you can hand tighten them.
Man, the impala need a car cover
Big facts!
He might as well gon a build that good ol shop. 25'x40'😉🤣🤣🤣
Use a tarp tie down Bungee Cord on those to hold them together because they slide out easily if you forget one day to tie down those screws I already lost two of them twice😂
Bungee chords is all I use, damn bolts snapped off
That's a good idea
Go to a welding shop let them heat that L up n they can straighten it out
Yo KJ, is the grease you used any different from the grease they use on fifth wheel on tractor trailers? Also, I would have done something stupid like, bent it back using a tree.🤦🏿♂️
I think it's the exact same stuff. It's red just like it.
If you weld
Take that bar to your weld shop. They should be able to heat it up and bend it back.
you kept running though!
Man you pretty fast
I was one of the fastest runners in my high school track team, we won't the state championship 3 times in 4 years.
When in doubt bust out the wd40 lol
Dude you should use Grease
that's what i used
Hey what’s up bro how are you much love let’s go
grease it down, once you hook a short chain to it. problem solved
I think u should be able to unbend that L hook truck to it and pull on it
😎💪💪💪💪💪
You can still use them L’s
