The bird on the box is "Picasso" who flew away about 2 years ago. She has never stopped looking for him and this entire line is dedicated to him. She does have her own toy line too. Her engaged not caged mission is something I support, so I would pay the extra money for her box.
Picasso isn't a logo, he's the box owner's LOST moustache parakeet, and she features 1 of her 10 birds every month. This month it's Jersey, she's a plucker too, she wears a J on her sock protector! 🐦💚
The BirdTricks company has a monthly subscription as well. If you happen to do this again I'd love to see you review those. It's made with all natural products and everything's dies with natural dyes
I wonder what’s going on in Cheyenne’s birdy little brain. At the end, she’s just sort of surveying her mass of new toy and treat wealth. It’s adorable.
@@kakkernakker they plan on doing a lot of their recording at the facility and if they're recording at the facility then we won't have that nice kitchen background that we've gotten accustomed to
If there arent reptile sub boxes yet, then you guys should start one! I bet it would be great. " Monthly snake discovery box ". different hides, humidity box options, reptile treats, toys.... And for personal touch, images and fun facts of your animals, jewlery made from sheds, etc.
I could see doing a monthly box that might include treats, toys, and other enrichment items. Maybe a little animal figurine or something decorative for the human. Not sure about hide boxes or humidity boxes - maybe include one of those every quarter (3 - months, seasonally) rather than every month? Not sure how often reptiles keepers/owners are changing out hides and humidity boxes. It would be a great idea though. And could include small merch items that fall in line with production cost versus what they would sell the box for. Logistics-wise though it might be difficult. Would it be general reptiles or specific to the different species (snakes, lizards, geckos, etc)? Then you'd have to factor in size variations as well (kind of like these bird boxes). It could be a future project when their facility has been up and running for a while and they have time to devote to a project that size, but not sure the demand is there. Birds go through toys much like dogs and cats, which is why subscription boxes for them kind of make sense.
@@CelticStar87 I think it would be more of a random merch type thing with the option to include reptile hides and other reptile related things but I do see a good use for a hide/humidity box/enrichment subscription box type deal thing if you're slowly building up a reptile collection this kind of subscription box could give you say enough stuff for one enclosure every month or every two months or whatever and if you have say 10 enclosures and you're filling them up at a rate of like one or two every month and that's what you plan on doing then a subscription box would be nice cuz you could set it up one enclosure at a time
Not saying the bigger stuff would be an every month thing, just that it could be something to consider as options for some boxes. Maybe a starter box will consist of stuff useful for general reptiles like a hide, waterbowl in SD color scheme, etc. Then after would be enrichment leaves, keychains, card of one of their animals with fun facts about em. A lot of potentials. And could vary like the bird boxes for size of lizard, or snake
Since some of the bird toys look like home made, how about a video on making your own DIY bird toys, with bird safe materials and dyes. That could also be good for reducing waste if you reuse popsicles sticks, for example.
I feel like in general I always kinda have the same opinion towards suprise boxes that usually its not worth it. Okay but there are no “starter birds” there are only smaller birds. Please please research training and what to do to bring your bird home. Many birds develop fears from humans and keeping them in the cage because you don’t want to scare it isn’t a good idea. They must be trained at least to target so that you can get it out of its cage to train and if it flies away you can target it back. I know this is really long but also research diet. If it’s a smaller bird, a variety of vegetables and homemade seed mix should make a good breakfast, and then you can feed organic pellets for dinner. If it helps, you can use their vet travel cage to sleep in, as having toys hanging around some birds can make them not want to sleep. I really hope this helps and good luck to your brother!
