I don’t think Cedrat Boise smells anything at all like Aventus personally. I’m not sure why it does to some people but not at all to others. People say that about Scent of Peace by Bond no 9 as well but I don’t smell even a 1% similarity. It’s a strange phenomenon.
Yeah scent of peace is more like sauvage with pineapple and Cedrat has a almost harsh fruit opening with a woody/musk dry down
@@luishernandez6865 to me HTTP is a linear Aventus without the fruity opening and ELYSIUM is like Diet Aventus and MontBlanc Explorer is like that Koka-Kola you find in another country-- it’s good but you know it’s not “Coca-Cola”
I also don’t get the similarities between Cedrat Boise and aventus. Not at all. I have aventus and a decant of CB. No similarity except that I’d wear both in the summer. But I don’t think that counts lol
@@JaimetheNomad I have Bohemian Lime by Goldfield & Banks and a bunch of people are comparing that to Aventus and they’re not even slightly similar in any way whatsoever. If it has citrus people are immediately like “they’re copying Aventus!” Lol.
@@miggs80 😂 it seems to be that way! I don’t have that one but actually just smelled it for the first time a couple weeks ago and agreed, it’s also NOTHING like Aventus.
That's interesting. I find the leather note to be quite prominent in the intense version and the main distinction between the two fragrances. It makes the intense version more of a fall/winter fragrance to my nose.
Got my bottle 2 weeks ago i cant get enough it 3 complments first day and one compliment that stood out was the one at my bank the teller was like wow you smell good and she was behind thick bullet proof glass with the only opening being that cut out where they place the money in so that smell creeped through and attacked her nose lol

I hope the intense is better. I bought a regular bottle of cedrat boise and its a recent batch only 3 months old and its a terrible fragrance. Same ol boring generic lemon scent and nothing else. Smells just like LaVenture but much much weaker. Now i know why the price keeps going lower and lower. Each reformulation gets weaker and worse. Smells just like lemon dawn dish liquid. I bought a bottle because of all the youtubers hyping it up like crazy to get free stuff. This is why fragrance manufacturers keep weakening their products because of all the youtube bums hyping it up and then they sell the consumers garbage. Quit listening to they youtube bums folks and maybe we will get a good formula again one day.

Just got my bottle, the oud is very prominent and the spice and vanilla are very strong. This smells amazing on my skin.
If i enjoy electium imperium and hacivat would it be redundant to get this and will i enjoy it
I own full bottles of Aventus and Hacivat. I have a decant sample of Cedrat Boise (OG and Intense).
I want a bottle of CB still, for what it’s worth. The Hacivat is closer (but still different) to aventus than CB is to aventus. I don’t see the similarities between CB and Aventus that others do.
The OG blows away Aventus which nauseates me
I have heard many people say they prefer Cedrat Boise over Aventus.

Ya know Steven a lot of the stores are advertising the bottle on there ad as the picture showing the Intense and if your not paying attention to it there selling the original but with the intense bottle in the ad couldn't believe that for the Fathers day holiday they did this 4 people I know of that had purchased it got duped by not seeing the difference and know you can get this for in some cases well under a 100$ but that's rotten but thank you for bringing it to light because it's a real issue

The original smells like a key lime pie The Who way through. Not at all like aventus, and the intense smells the exact same with a very fecal smelling oud, not sure what your smelling

Hands down, the best creed Aventus “clone” is Afnan Not Only Intense
From the strongest to the most discreet note: fruity acidity, blackcurrant freshness, cedar, musk.
Bright and sunny, dynamic and optimistic fragrance.
Very similar to Creed Aventus but without the smoky wood and ambergris giving a more sensual accord.
For warm climate, mixed fragrance for men and women.
Good sillage and duration.
Mancera blows away.Creed

Are you sure you're not experiencing olfactory fatigue with it? Try only spraying once on the back of your neck as a test for one day, you may get surprised that you can detect it throughout your day

All my friend who bought it also experienced the same issue as mine. Even the regular Cedrat Boise are last more longer than the Intense version.
@@Khans0120 i forgot 1 thing. Mine is batch 2022. I think all of you guy have are the first year of the production,which is the 2021. The batch 2022 are sooo bad.
@@arigalarssen698 my 100mL Cedraf Boise Intense bottle is being delivered today and I'm hoping that it is olfactory fatigue, but the other possibility is that it's your skin and where you are spraying. Fragrances off my skin, according to my parents, end up projecting very strongly and that even includes the cheap $10 ones from Walmart so I'm stuck to doing 2 to 3 sprays with EDT's on average. I will give an update on how this Extrait does once I get time with the 2022 bottle. However, I just watched a review of it from TLTG and he says that it's so strong due to the 45% oil concentration that it's super easy to get anosmic to it as well

You either have a bad/fake version or you are going nose blind to it. Try spraying it on a shirt in a different place in your home, preferably somewhere with a door you can close. When you do spray it hold your breath, do not breath any of the fragrance in, then walk out and close the door. Come back to the room at least 4 hours later, and keep going back into the room however many hours later. That way you get a better understanding of how the fragrance performs on clothes. My skin tends to absorb fragrance so longevity for me is most times a problem but not with instant crush. It is a beast mode fragrance on me. Easy 12hrs. Hope this helps
@@JLaFragancia I'll try that with intense cedrat boise, because i feel like only the opening sticks to me. After 3-4 hours it doesnt project at all i have to get my nose to my hand to actually smell it. Do you think the clothes catch the scent more and the skin absorbs it faster?
don't make the same mistake as me, get the OG, the intense doesn't even last 2 hours, waste of money.
