Does this work example I use my home wifi and like there is a park nearby will my home wifi still work cuz it use less data ?
+B11 progamer it won't make the wifi work but it substantially reduces data for example we only get GPRS around our house but using this method you can still get Pokemon and gyms to work as long as you have loaded up before loosing connection it's getting better as the servers are improving its much better now than it was before the update 😄

Everyone doing this method only uses less data not makes it so u can walk around with no wifi or no data..No it makes your Mb on the app go up slower than it shoulnd Becuse you have downloaded that area but you will still need data :(.

I got a message the other day reminding me to re-download maps as they were about to run out so I’m guessing yes although it’s probably a different way of doing it sing us this video is like five years old
it doesnt work for me pokemon go still says no internet connection when i walk around
Have you tried loading the game up with your Wi-Fi connection and then with the downloaded map going around trying to catch Pokémon then because you only really need the Internet initially to start up if it just so long as the game doesn't crash and you've downloaded the map it should work hopefully that's what we found, in our next video but please let us know if this works for you as would love to know thank you for commenting :)

This is great and all.. but how would your phone know if you move when you have no gps signal?
Because you don't need Internet to use maps. I had a house viewing a couple of months ago and got lost and I never use data or internet outdoors, but maps worked absolutely fine for me regardless.
+Emperor Reign Yes I know that the map can be downloaded but maps (atleast i dont think so) doesn't track your location without internet, wifi or GPS signal. Pokemkn go needs wifi to know where you are.
+Alex Robitaille Dude it says "without WiFi", not without GPS. As far as I know the internet is just giving informations like where a pokemon spawns.

+ChiCincoHD yeah it was the iPhone app we were using :) are used it today and we had 3 hours of Pokémon go usage we only lost about 20% of battery where as last time we were dead after two hours lol

+GGGeorge PPPond A buddy thank you for your question I'm realising that I will need to be a lot more clear in my videos ha ha yes you do need to turn data on this really just helps with if you're only getting GPRS don't get me wrong it's not an off-line mode but it does really help even if it doesn't work 100% of the time are that's more to do with the Pokémon servers keep crashing. It worked for us. It doesn't use no internet but if your in a GPRS only area EG right out side our house you can catch pokemon and battle gyms. It obviously doesn't let you play completely offline just allows you to continue in low internet areas that would normally crash the game. Check out our other videos to show you it does work.

+charlee brown it don't completely stop your battery from draining obviously LOL but it's significantly reserves it due to, that when it crashes in Has to download the map again if you already have the map downloaded on your phone it doesn't need to do that that's saving data and battery life, thank you for your comment if you have anything else you want to ask please day or I hope you enjoy the rest of the videos on your way to become a Pokémon master!

+potato lover i'm assuming that you follow all the steps correctly maybe if you try opening yet whilst you're on Wi-Fi connection then going out then it will work if you are in GPRS so long as the servers don't crash which is possibly the most annoying thing at the moment LOL i'm hoping with an update when they finally get rid of some of the bugs in the servers stop crashing this method will work for everybody not just most people. I've seen you on a lot of Pokémon go vids, So here's a solution, Get a app called BetterNet its available for iphones, andriods, And pretty much everything. Its a vpn app. I can't really explain what vpn is or means but I know it can help you use internet (Pokémon go/ gps) offline.Jesus long comment here
