Hi Mark. Thanks for watching and your comment! You can also check your local uk/highways maps that should be up to date. Each County has one. So for the area I was riding in, Thetford, which is in Norfolk its maps.norfolk.gov.uk/highways. Hope this helps further. Cheers. Billy
@@BillysBikeAdventures it went from "where tf are all these 4x4 places!?" To "oh there they are". Honestly mate, I was close to packing it in. Life saver
Iv tried to figure this thing out but it baffles the hell out of me. I just ride stop an apologies all round if I get stopped by people, just being nice over the years has saved me so many times.. I'm sure every bit of land near me is owned by someone it's a nightmare,, I had permission at one spot to practice my enduro trials skills, until idiots found it and left garbage everywhere tore fences down and built a seating area and had a fire.
Hi morpheus One. Thanks for your message and for watching the video. The great thing about this app to find green lanes near you is that they are there if someone else has recorded them. What this does not show is if there have been changes to the legal status of a green lane and that you have to check closer to the time of riding. Things are changing all the time. Stay safe. Billy
Thanks for the video but the routes I download from the PC don't appear in the App as above. ie under routes? I have logged into the app, it recognises my name via Apple, and so does the PC website to which I'm log into. Am I doing something wrong here?
Hi Edward. Thanks for your message and question. Firstly make sure the files you are importing end with .gpx Secondly they may have gone under tracks so check there as well. The other thing is that it may take a while to sync to the app. Let me know how you go. Cheers. Billy
Hi Cliff. Thanks for watching and your question! Firstly if you were using View Ranger and had a subscription to it then you should have automatically been moved to their new owners app, 'Outdooractive', although I confess I have yet to try this. A vid will come soon on this. Other than that, I am using OsmAnd app to confirm trails. I would recommend supporting your local TRF and joining them as they will have all the knowledge you need for trail riding. www.trf.org.uk/
Thanks for putting this together. Its clear and helpful.
Thanks and your welcome! Let me know if you have any questions
Brilliant video, I’ve been trying various apps but this one looks an easy app to find byways and green lanes. Thank you.

@@BillysBikeAdventures yeh I have looked but it’s just easier if there was a convenient app. (More time for riding than studying maps) 😂
