Thanks. Just bought the Boss WL20 and Am very happy with its tone and battery life.
truly exceptional
Great video!
I tried a few and ended up with the line6 G10. It has really good battery life and the dock is useful for charging. Also it does not colour the tone as much as most in this price range. Mine cost £99 and I have gigged, recorded and practiced with it for 2 years now.
I thought all three sounded pretty much exactly the same. Having been a Boss fan all my life (and having toured and recorded with Boss pedals, and other Roland stuff), I'll likely go for the Boss.
I think that clean sound is better to compare quality of this units..
What about those wireless systems and fuzz pedals?
Great video, great review! And you sir have a very nice beard!
this is petrucci
My xvive packed up only afer a few uses
I have both the Line 6 G10 (hate the micro USB power input) and Boss WL-20L. I love that I don't have to plug anything else in on the floor with the Boss...BUT...My soundguy uses a Wi-Fi extender for wireless mixing and the extra signals mess with the Boss something fierce. I never had that issue with the Line 6. Do they transmit with different technology?
what is better? g10 or wl-20
@@dhkim5629 g10 IMO
I've been banging my head against the wall with wireless and am very tempted to just stick to 1/4". Xvive is good but the build quality sucks and the battery life is spotty at best. I've used the U2 extensively (been through 2 pairs) and have not made it through a 3 hour gig as far as battery life. I bought a Getaria GWS-26 as an alternate - the battery life is great but the tone is horrendous. As far as this video is concerned, the Xvive sounds the best, but in my personal opinion, 1/4" is still the way to go if you want the best tone.
G10 is great, i use it for more than a year now, even to record,
i compared to a good cable and the difference is negligible.
nice axe
Boss is better quality and hasnt failed me on 4-5hr gigs on a single charge...
Do any of these work with acoustic guitars?
Yes they do! Even bass guitars as well....
You might want to check this before you buy. I have an acoustic with an LR Baggs Anthem system in it, and I got it to work with my Xvive if I use an angled adapter, but my Line6 Relay G10S doesn't give any sound at all. Weird. Not sure if there is something wrong with my particular transmitter, haven't dug into it in depth, but it works fine with my electric so probably not. And another thing that I've noticed is that my Xvive often gives me a very high-pitched noise, quiet but definitely audible, and it only goes away when I fiddle with the position of the transmitter on the guitar or put my hand over it as a "cover". Nothing that matters when we start playing because it's so quiet but still something my analogue system doesn't do. So - probably depending on what mic system you have in your guitar, but worth investigating before you buy I would say.
Boss is the best, its can go about 9 hour run time on stage 🤘
Except for nux b5 is way better
X vive tak best. Guna setahun bateri dah kong teruk. Mmg tak rekemen langsung. Menyesal beli.
That was a waste.
