On my unit the Neutron just keeps indefinitely playing the last note played after you stop inputting anything via MIDI. So this is normal? Can you turn it off, or do you just need to turn VCA bias (or the Volume) completely down whenever you're not playing?
@@init-crioxica Hello iNtoxer. The answer is - like so often - yes and no. Yes, because you can send the same signal to different modules (the Neutron has got only one multiple with only 2 outputs to do the same thing). Or you can send different signals to the same target module. No, because you must bare in mind, that you use the cables factually as unbuffered multiples, which means, that the strength of a signal, which goes to different targets is weakened by a factor answering the number of different targets. "Strength" doesn´t mean "Volt" here, because the voltage lying over two (or more) parallel resistors is the same, but the amount of Ampere is reduced, which sometimes leas to unintended reactions. When you feed different signals into one and the same target module, it´s the other way round. The voltages sum up and may reach an amount, which lead to unintended results - or in extreme cases may even damage the circuit (please look up the sheet of maximum voltages at the end of the manual. All in all: yes, buy some, but don´t stack more than 2 of them at the same time. Enjoy your day! Rolf

Never would have guessed that the USB driver required to update the firmware is not on windows, and that it is different from the USB driver for normal operation. But eventually I would have seen the "clue" given in the firmware Update PDF that says you might have to "update your driver" with no further explanation as to what driver or how to get the Neutron to use that driver should you be so lucky to select the one correct USB drivers out of all the USB drivers in the world. I hope Behringer paid you for this. Also, how did you figure it out???

I don't know how it was documented when you made the video. Today, you find the instructions on how to install the correct driver and select it for the update in Behringers documents. But it's still 'hidden' if you don't read the whole thing - which I only did when the update failed. After updating a bunch of other Behringer synths via Synthtribe, I didn't expect the process to be that different. On top of that, it only works on my Win10 PC, not on the Win11 machine.
I updated the firmware with my neutron and everything works but the software control center. it says that my neutron isn't connected via usb even though it is, any reasons as to why this is happening?
Hello Ace! Yes, sometimes it is like that, unfortunately. The control center is not 100% compatible with all kinds of Windows-PC configurations. Behringer has to do their homework still (on behalf of the control center). I´m sorry, that I cannot answer your question more satisfactory, but fact is fact :-(. Sometimes it helps simply installing the software more than once. I know a guy, who was patient enough to run the described process 11 times - and suddenly the control center worked !?!
