Thank you for the video... I wonder, do you have a video explaining to use ths MS 10+ MS 20 and SQ10 together? loads of fun trying your video at home!!
This helps me figure out more of my iMS. I have no prior experience unless you count my radio shack mg that was barley a synth. The iMS is very hard to figure out without any kind of real documentation telling me what patch ports do what it is trail and error and so far it's more error than anything. Can't really figure out how to patch to get good results.
of course but you have to modify the ext-signal trigger input,... i think it's about a polarity, anyway you need a rare plug to connect. You should plug it with nude cables. I made modified my MM few days ago!
Hi, I'm using the Korg iMS20 app. I have a question regarding this video at 0:21 thru 0:30: The virtual SQ10 in the iMS20 app does not seem to automatically step-trigger the synth in the way that it does with the hardware versions. Does anybody know how to configure the app-version to do this? See also, 5:26 thru 5:40 in this video, the iMS20 doesn't seem to allow its own step-sequencer to be "key-played" in this way. I spent about an hour trying to configure this, and just could not find the solution. Does anyone have any ideas?
thats soooo damn cool. i got the ms20mini and i find it hard to make stuff like this. i got a arturia beatstep pro heading to me and i hope i can use that to do stuff like this. i got the original beatstep also so i thinking if i use that to just play notes and then the pro to send cv to the other stuff that i can accomplish something like this
....ich erkenne gerade der SM 20 war wahrscheinlich meiner (an der Klaviatur)! Viel Spaß damit, ich vermisse meine Raumstation Mir, so nannte ich MS20, SQ10 & VC10
Pretty sure Korg runs on other than V/Oct. Something like Hz/V. Not sure if this only affects Pitch CV or also Gate. But it obviously wouldn't track Pitch properly.
Gavin Duffy I'm not sure but I think it could work when you use 3.5mm jack to 6.3mm jack cables. The MS-20 mini has small jack (3.5mm) and the SQ-10 has larger jacks (6.3mm). I think it should work when you do this but I'm still not sure.
Have you ever thought about using vst technology. It has instant recall and perfect Munich , so none of that messy unstable tuning that makes old synths so unmanageable. I am tweakyboo
Magnific stuff. I got totally mesmerized in the process. The amount of possible ridtms are vast and infinite and your hability to tune it is masterful
Last onscreen note should really read - Just amazing what someone with talent can do with a monophonic synth.
Great sequencing!
Sounds really like the self oscillation of the CEM chips. I'm extremely impressed - I totally overlooked the capability of the MS20.
this is all i’ve ever wanted from a synthesizer.
I really enjoy your videos (whole channel actually) this MS20 is a real space machine and you surly use its to its full potential man !
Bravo 👍
Hey! My very first synth and sequencer in 1981.
The times never come back.
AWESOME TO SEE THE ORIGINAL SEQUENCER!

This is what it's all about Synths & Sequencers! Sweeeet
I had a MS 20 many moons ago, never got my hands on a SQ 10. Been playing with the Ipad Ims20, Its actually kind of fun.
I wish I could follow along with my own models of these! One day hopefully!
They need to reissue the SQ 10. SQ 10 Mini? SQ 1 isn't quite the same!

Thank you! really useful! - and with a strong musical feeling!
suberb Video, I feel the eletricity
nicely done! total analogue lovelyness, thanks a lot.
is there any way to do this with the sq-1 sequencer
the new mini MS20 is on its way.. now it is
time for a remake of the SQ10
Yeah, cause the SQ 1 isn't quite enough! :]
@@CaalamusTube
Late to the party here, but wonder if 3 of the sq-1's could suffice???
Fucking glorious. I would love for a 2019 revisit of the patch
One of my ms-20s has a chip on the same key as well!
Every ms20 should have a chip like that. Both my ms20 and vc10 do.

fanthastic...!Good work!
amazing
nice dude !
have you tried the ims20 and see how they compare?
GIVE ME THAT SEQUENCER NOW!!!!!!
haha
Great !
can an sq10 work with a minimoog model d? thanks for any help you are able to provide

Oh!!
If they do, they really need to make it of 16-steps, instead of 12.

Ear honey.
