Clays at that range would be hard. Tip to people like guy number one, quit breaking your cheek weld from the rifle every time you cycle the bolt. Keep your face on the gun and observe your shot. Follow through. That’s an awesome challenge
56 years ago when sniper training I was told mark1 eye ball dont adjust the scope after sighting in watch the wind observe how the birds are flying and where on your scope the rounds impact and adjust your hold over not your scope if you rely on instruments you fail as a sniper.
What a fantastic channel! Im so happy I stumbled on it! I guess since this is my first time watching I dont know the rules for semi auto rifles. But how about two separate classes for this competition both bolt gun and gas guns? Thanks for the enjoyable video!
@@mikesimpson6757 man we are glad you found us. That was on the shooter it wasn’t on us he could have loaded out. He had trouble with a magazine he was playing safe than sorry. Thanks for the feed back
So many shooters waste a massive amount of time dialing their elevation on the first 5 targets versus doing a holdover, as well as single feeding when they have a magazine fed gun.
@@MikhaelWest plenty of time to dial and shoot or hold and shoot also enough time to single feed it. I hear what your saying and it makes sense. Come on out and give it a try.
Good stuff! But watching the guy drop a mag and load one round in a mag everytime was killing me lol. Can you tell him he can just leave the mag in and put a round in the chamber through the ejection port?
@@roamingshotlol, got it! I was like, dang! They’re making it way hard on the semis… hahahaha cool challenge. Would like to come out there someday. From Utah!
@@remington7009 yep some can some can’t. Some berms have more grass then first and some days it’s damp and others it’s dusty, all part of the challenge.
This is an awesome challenge. I would like to suggest to start coaching your shooters about sky loading. Its just safer practice to not have a hot firearm while munipulating the scope or moving the rifle with a loaded chamber.
This is definitely a spin on the original Texas plinking 1 moa at 1000 yards challenge but I’m here for it! It’s awesome. Subscribed!
Kinda, sorta, not really. Glad you’re enjoying it thanks for subscribing!!!

@@skip664able thank you for watching
Excellent challenge.. Thank you for putting this Challenge on, probably one of the hardest challenges out there for shooting long distance.

You need Jake Graves out there. He hit a Copenhagen can on his second shot from a cold bore at 1,000yds. No walk up, no spotter.

Did I miss something? Do you make the semi autos load the mags 1x1? Why not just give them 3:00 instead of 3:30?

Second shooter was left handed and looked right eye dominant. My son has the same issue and it makes learning to shoot a lot more difficult.
