Your videos always relaxes me and eases my depression. Please continue doing what you love 🫶 been a supporter for about a month now and you have inspired me to start taking care and collecting plants 🌱😇
I use hand sanitiser alcohol (the gel stuff) for mealy bugs and scales. When it doesn’t hurt my hands it’s probably fine for my plants as well and it works great against pests!
It's not annoying for us viewers if there's a car passing by...it probably sounds louder to you irl than how your mic catches the car noise...so also the videos filmed in bedroom(😳🤭) are nice!
My favorite is my pothos my brother committed suicide in 1990, the plant was a gift to my mom. When I married in 1992 I got a starter from that plant and since then I have propagated and give away several. You are not alone in your struggle with depression I understand and also suffer from depression. I have several plants I’m not sure how many I have I need to count them!
I always feel like for me plants die in summer here. I either think I have to water them more than I have to (because of the heat) or I dont water them enough being afraid I will overwater them.. And I seem to not be able to tell if the spot that is usually fine is now way too bright. Mate, its a nightmare with fluctuating humidity from 40-90% and temperatures from 15-36°C in just a day. I have so many yellow leaves on my Frydeks, I want to yeet them out of the window, I am dramatic over it and so are they. Moderate continental climate sucks ass. 🥸
Another great video😊. Try this with your monstera dubia... make sure the moss and soil are COMPLETELY DEY... feel up your bathtub with warm water maybe with a little dawn soap and soak your plants for a few hours with pot up above the water. Kills pests while watering💚💚💚
Have a WONDERFUL trip. Your videos and personality are so healing when I need it and always fun + educational. Lots of family struggles lately but taking care of my plants and watching your vids (and gaming) has helped x100. I'm loving the nerdy/fantasy pots, your elf in the last vid and I see your purple guy in the background on this one 😊 if you do a Q&A anytime soon: what inspired the fantasy aesthetic? Do you read high or epic fantasy? Or like the art style or creativity of it? Please share!! 🧝♀️🧝♂️🌱
I’d stick that peperomia in a prop box with moss. They prop well in a high humidity set up by stem cuttings (make sure there’s a node) or leaf (stick the petiole part in moss. Light as if you’re growing a full plant and air out the prop box once in a while. It does take a loooooooooong time but that’s the most successful method i found to revive my peperomias. And the high humidity will help with that wilted look that you have with your plant. Oooohh I have soooo many plants I wish I could give you😅
If it's about mealybugs I am always spraying plants with %70 alcohol and never ever any of my plants suffered from it. And with your Dubia you can try peroxide which I mix with rubbing alcohol and my plants are fine, never hurt my plants. But it's my experience and I don't want anything bad for your beautiful plants😊
I absolutely love your content Claire❤ it hurt my heart to hear about your Peperomia Hope, I fell in love with yours when you did a walk through a little bit ago in one of you LOOOOOONG videos and I had just got my first one this week!! I'm blown away with your monstera and how she's about to hit the ceiling hahaha love it!!
I have tried to grow peperomia hope three times. I haven’t been able to figure it out. They end up curling and dropping leaves. I hope you have better luck than me. I hope yours bounces back
I'm so sorry about your peperomia hope! I hope she recovers!🙏 I have a cane Begonia in LECA doing great so I'm pretty confident yours will perk up. 👍 Have a great holiday!
Can you do a video on how you build those moss poles with the plastic back? I would like to make some, but haven’t found any how to videos. Thank you! 😊🪴
Lovely video! Hopefully your plants bounce back from their struggles. I wanted to ask if you could make a video about your semi Hydro set up, what you do for pots and watering etc. since you have started using it a lot ^^ I would love to see that and learn more about that.
What a coincidence! My peperomia Hope had the same issue just 2 weeks ago. One day I was going to water it and realized it looked wonky and on closer check i noticed all stems were rotted at the soil level. I chopped it all and waiting for roots...🤞good luck with yours 🌱
Hi there, I'm new to plants and have been binging your videos. They are relaxing, easy to watch and listen to, and I'm learning so much. Since I'm new, this is more of a question than a suggestion, but with the Dubia that had the mealy bug on it, what would happen if you soaked the moss pole and sprayed the plant down with hydrogen peroxide? I just dealth with my first couple instances of spider mites, and I initally overreacted and made a horrible mistake and may have killed a Calathea ornata, but then I did some research and hydrogen peroxide seems to be bad for bugs and even good for plants. So now I'm obsessively checking them for webbing and spraying them with a slightly diluted hydrogen peroxide spray I made and so far I haven't found any more. Hydrogen peroxide, as you probably know, is just distilled water with an extra oxygen molecule so I don't think that would count as chemical. Anyways, if that would be a bad idea, please tell me why as I'm still learning. So far I haven't dealt with mealy bugs so I haven't researched them, and even tho my plant collection is growing at a steady pace, I just haven't been doing this long enough to have any usful experience to share. I hope you have an awesome holiday. Much love! 💌
Love your content. Very informative and relaxing to watch. I think your peperomia hope will do better if you cut it into single nodes. Right now there is to much plant to be supported by little or no roots. Good luck.
Oh, I hope your peperomia hope makes a comeback ❤ I know u love that plant. I actually got myself a peperomia hope as well this summer, inspired by you! 😊 I had one some years ago but back then I did not really like it. U made me see the beauty of it 😊 But it's a pity how they can go downhill without as noticing. I just noticed today my peperomia kimnachii had just rotted off from its rootsystem. It's so strange because it's been doing fine for a long time and then this happens. I am also trying to salvage it in a form of cuttings. Enjoy your get-away, it will be fine 🥰 I am leaving at the end of this week for a 10 day trip as well 😅 and also having a friend coming to check my plants. I am hoping no spidermite infestation or boiling plants in the heat. Those have been my main challenges this summer 😬🥵
Can’t find much on the Kerala in the US, found one that said Burle Marks Philo. ?? I wouldn’t do anything to your Dubia, if you don’t see any mealies I wouldn’t stress. I’d leave it alone to grow. Aww Your Clari babies are so cute 😍💚
I agree it looks super similar to the Burle Marx. It's sold as it's own hybrid species over here, but I'll do some digging and try and find out what makes it different!
hi, love your videos :) where did you get the kerala hybrid? i cannot find it anywhre, and Kerala is where my family is from so i would love to have a little bit of home in my home :) x
I had a snail in an aloe planter all winter. I had outside last summer. I only discovered it because it was eating kalanchoe l was trying to propagate in there. Note to self: feed future pet snails kalanchoe 😂
I can't have checked the soil properly before I watered, and accidentally overwatered it! I've got so used to what it likes, occasionally I don't bother checking - this is a HUGE reminder to me to stay on the ball 💚
It's so comforting to hear about people losing plants. I always feel like such a failure when a plant dies.
Your videos always relaxes me and eases my depression. Please continue doing what you love 🫶 been a supporter for about a month now and you have inspired me to start taking care and collecting plants 🌱😇

You'll not regret it! I've found house plants to be so healing for anxiety and depression. ❤❤ sending you positive planty vibes ✨️

My Pepperonia Hope did the same thing!😮

Ahh, it’s been so long! Love your new place. All your plants are loving the new space! And your monstera 😍 Safe travels!!
Thank you! Yes the plants have definitely settled in well 💚

That bear paw cactus is the most adorable plant!! 🥹Saw a little fiddle leaf fig in the background…do you still have frida?
Thank you Claire. Wishing your your plants well while you are away. Safe travels.
A trip? Gaw. We'll miss you. I just sit there watching 1h long vids without doing any plant chores, on a sunday LOL
Found 2 GIANT mealy bugs on my Mexicanum (on a pole) washed it off with my outdoor hose with a strong spray and haven’t seen any more 2 months later

Hire someone (a friend) to go to your place on Day 1, 5, 10 and look after them.
Anxiety done.
Enjoy your vacation.
Have a great holiday!!! See you when you are back!!!❤❤❤
It looks like a Philodendron camposportoanum to me. They're beautiful plants. You can put it on a pole if you want mature leaves or let it trail.
I'm so sorry about your peperomia hope! I hope she recovers!🙏 I have a cane Begonia in LECA doing great so I'm pretty confident yours will perk up. 👍 Have a great holiday!
I think the mystery philodendron is Philodendron Bipennifolium (Horsehead).
Love your content!! Thanks

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear you had the same issue! It obviously happens pretty quickly. I really hope you manage to get yours back to health 💚
Have a great holiday xx
Another great video Claire. What is the name of the clear plastic you use to back your moss poles with please.
Enjoy your holiday!!!
Can you try a neem oil soak for the dubia? Wash/water the moss that way and water through with neem oil?
Wondering what semi-hydro media you have your anthurium regale in? It looks chunkier than Lechuza pon…
Love it! Does your Albo monstera have spider mites? Just noticed a lot of smalls webs on the upper parts where the leaves are yellowing
Good update. Have a great vac!
Love your videos, thank you!! A question, I know you fertilise pon with gold leaf fertiliser, how do you do it??

I never heard of Kerala, it does look like a Burle Marx, which is an easy grower for me, its used in landscaping in Florida.

@@TheJungleHaven That would good, I searched but couldn’t find much, it would be awesome to know. Good luck hunting 💚
hi, love your videos :) where did you get the kerala hybrid? i cannot find it anywhre, and Kerala is where my family is from so i would love to have a little bit of home in my home :) x
You could use systemic pesticides. I'm about to do that to get rid of fungus gnats.
Systemics are illegal (or you need a permit to buy them) in most developped countries
@@magalieg273USA states (not all) sells it
Nematodes work the best for fungus gnats. In two weeks they’re all gone!

Hi Claire, just curious, do you know why/ how your peperomia got root rot?
Hope your prop babies do ok 🤞.
I can't have checked the soil properly before I watered, and accidentally overwatered it! I've got so used to what it likes, occasionally I don't bother checking - this is a HUGE reminder to me to stay on the ball 💚

In the Netherlands peperomia hope is really cheap and easy to get
They're cheap and easy to get here too, I just am so sad to potentially lose that plant as I've grown it from such a little baby!
It îs a camposportoanum, Bunny ear philo
Yeah, those also grow like weed 😂
Wow does this Shirt looks good on you or you in this Shirt 😍
Maybe the sick one needs some fish tank water 🐠 💦 🙏 🌱
