    With my transmission, the highest I reved was 5700 rpms at 52 mph first gear. So it would be at close to 100 at end of second, yet The top speed for a stock lacrosse is about 142 mph, so I dont see it going faster than that. This has a very tall 4th gear too.
    Plus your curb weight is alittle less than mine too.

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  9 років тому +2

      I'm sure if your car was turbo or supercharged you could touch 150mph I seen a video of my friends highly modified Grand Prix gtp touching 162 mph could have almost went a little faster he has a lot of work done to his car though

    How did you install your custom radio because I can't figure out how to install mine. In my Monte Carlo it has a round radio plug, and the radio itself doesn't have that plug, I wonder if it takes some sort of wire converter for that plug.

    Dude I got a question for you. I have a ported gen 3 blower and was considering going to a gen v and porting it. Inhave stage 3 heads but not with the injector bungs inside them. Will this work with the gen v? I notice you said you have stage 2 heads, do they have the bungs inside them?

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  10 років тому

      I am still running stock heads and I'm pretty sure I still have the same injector bungs I might have to switch them once I port my heads to stage 3 this spring I would definitely go gen 5 not much porting u can do in a gen 5 except making the inlet 79mm a stock gen 5 is more efficient than a ported gen 3

    • @zack8690
      @zack8690 10 років тому

      Yea I wanted to get a gen v but the guys at zzp said it wouldn't work with my lim which is from the m90 sc kit even tho it's the same as an l67. Tim said id need the bungs inside the head and the gen v wouldn't really work with my setup, there tech articles state that the gen v is only 5% more efficient in cooling air and raising boost 1-2 pounds more that's it, I agree it's more efficient in cooling air but power wise similar. I should have done my own too swap instead of originally running the ssm90 kit. I can always install bungs in my heads and run a different lim but I just had this done and I'm broke lol

    Beautiful car. Love what you have done to it. My brother has a stock jr car now with 271k miles. Strong motors. I have to ask - when you romped on the car the speedo looks inaccurate - based on how fast telelphone poles were going by. If I had to guess, when the gearing was changed the speedo was not recalibrated. Theres no way the car got up to 80 or 90 with the scenery passing by. Albeit I’m watching this from a video. I may be wrong but just seemed odd. Easy way to tell is take a gps with you and compare to what your speedo says. Otherwise love the hp and torque numbers you stated. I own a plain ‘04 SS NA. Love these cars.

      Hey thanks for the feedback! I sadly no longer have this car I definitely miss it but I feel I got a good replacement for it I now own a 2005 Pontiac GTO with the 6.0 LS2 and 6 speed manual transmission with just doing headers, CAI, BTR Stage 3 camshaft the car made 467whp on the dyno I feel like the monte made more power down low but the GTO pulls crazy hard on the top end I feel like I need to post a video of that car now

    Hey bud, I be had a 2004 intimidator since I was 16. Daily driver In Ohio year round. Got it with 20k miles on it. 22 year old now and I'd love to give it some more power while being able to maintain the longevity of the 3800s. I'm very new to performance mods. Me and my buddies work monarch with body work (which with these winters, I'm going to need plenty).
    I'm stock right now. I'd like to do a 3.5 - 3.4 pulley and Air intake. What all would I need to do to support that pulley mod. Any info would be great.
    Thanks!

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  9 років тому

      3.4-3.5 pulley is a good starting point mods I would recommend to run that would be colder range spark plugs like auto lite 104's a good cai (not just an open cone hanging off the maf lol) a 180* thermostat and either a powerlog front exhaust manifold and ported rear manifold along with a 2.5 inch down pipe or a set of headers for if you ever want to mod further and then a tuned pcm file which you can get from zzperformance all the parts I just mentioned they have with a properly tuned 3.5-3.4 pulley setup you should see anywhere from 7-9lbs of boost depending on elevation and gain around 30hp

    How much did all these mods cost you to get the hp and torque your at?

  • @DonkeyKong1195
    @DonkeyKong1195 9 років тому

    How much more hp does the pulley itself have?

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  9 років тому

      It's hard to judge the amount of hp that the pulley by itself adds because to be able to safely run a 2.8 pulley on a 3800 m90 car you need extensive modding like bigger cam e85 fuel larger fuel pump and injectors larger throttle body intercooler for the supercharger exhaust headers and other supporting mods to aid in air flow temperature control and exhaust flow the stock pulley size is 3.8 which makes about 7 pounds of boost the 2.8 I'm running right now makes about 12 pounds of boost between all the mods I have gained about 130hp to the wheels a stock 3800 supercharged makes right around 200whp is your lacrosse already supercharged?

    • @DonkeyKong1195

    How fast can this go in terms of top speed with these mods you have?

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  9 років тому

      My top speed is limited somewhat since I have the larger 3.29 gears in my zzp built transmission gives me faster acceleration with having to sacrifice some top speed with my gear set up I could hit right around 140-150 top speed with the 2.93 gearing your transmission has (also same gear ratio my old transmission had) top speed would be right around 160-165mph I would guess

    I have 60# deka injectors I'm also running the e47 the 50/50 mix of e85 and 93 octane on 23* of timing my engine has always dynoed high on torque for some reason it made 320lbs of torque on my previous 1.9rocker 3.0 pulley set up I'm also running a 2.8 pulley now.

    • @endsle11
      @endsle11  9 років тому

      My rev limit is set to 6300 rpm I could go higher with the upgraded valve springs I have but 3800's don't make a whole lot more power past 6000 rpm that is if you blueprint and balance and build the bottom end of the engine a friend of mine has a Grand Prix like that it revs to 7500rpm
