Just a brilliant podcast James. So so informative, your enthusiasm and talent is exceptional. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to more great podcasts.
Mr Nader you have given us One of the most thorough and inspirational videos I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. Your work is superb and your communication skills are second to none. You’ve made me proud to be photographer. I’m in my 70s and I’ve been recently looking at my past work with new eyes. I’ve been primarily shooting beauty glamour and all those who call themselves entertainment professionals. I also love lifestyle, landscape and cityscape. There are few thing I won’t shoot if I see inspiration. Im am now a permanent fixture as an observer in your world. Thank you so much for this utmost generous presentation. Thank you Sir. f
I think the fact that you included emotional intelligence in this is great! It is a key in working with others, being adaptable, and maintaining longstanding relationships & success! Thank you for sharing this video. ;)
Somehow ran across your video . . . well done! I have never seen ANYONE on the internet that actually knows what he is talking about in Fashion & Beauty Photography. Great work as well, I have seen some of your campaigns. Great success with the channel. 👍
Thank you so much for this. So many people on here always with a behind the scene or what they think about a product but this was informative and truly helps you think on a format and concept of what you would like to do.
Oh, amazing, thanks for the timestamp, Ryan. James is indeed talking about ARRI lights (a specific brand) and redheads which are basic continuous lights traditionally found in film and photography studios with open face and a red "head" - that's why the name ☺️ Hope that helps! In regards to your second question, I think that's up for debate and really depends on the goal you have. If you'd like to chat with James himself about it, you can do that now! As of yesterday, we offer free 1-on-1 talks with James about photography or any other struggles and questions you might have connected to the industry business, creativity and more! Thank you so much Erahk 🤩No, a great question! It's standard vintage bulbs/lamps you can buy in a regular home store - you can recreate the look by just buying those with some warm light 🙌
Great video, a lot of useful tips such as using LED Lights. I use a Canon EOS 5DV with 'Holly Trinity' of lenes Canon 16-35mm f/4L, Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 G2 & 70-200mm f/2.8 G2. I'll check out your IG.
Thank you for your comment Ryan! In the lighting section of this masterclass James mentioned couple types of lights. He mentioned ARRI lights, redhead and blonde lights, where ARRI is the brand, blonde light is a general-purpose light common in visual media work and readhead light is an open face tungsten light which means a 1000 Watt bare bulb in a reflector with no lens. Hope that answers the question but please do let me know if you have any others 🙏
Thank you so much James. This is way too much information. I'm a beginner photographer and I just discovered your style syncs with my ideas. I'll follow you on Instagram and hope to learn more about photography from you.
