People didn't care much about the album when the first couple singles released but when people gave it a chance most of them were blown away when listening through the whole album me included.

I didn't care for the opening the first time I heard the song, and had me worried for the rest of the song. I was worried for long though. I was hooked after my first listen, and I can't stop listening. I've probably listened to it 8 times today already. It's a masterpiece for sure.

Listened to the new album in its entirety. This song and Silk In The Strings are my favorites of the new songs on the album. Two of the heaviest as well, which tells you how well Spiritbox does with their heavier side. Sam Carter had a fantastic feature as well. No bad song on this album! All songs were either great or fantastic. This is album of the year for me so far.

I wouldn't call it my album of the year since there's still the new Valiant Hearts album and maybe a new The Wise Man's Fear album(it'll probably be released in 2022 but who knows, the boys were giving the final touches to it so maybe a release this year is still possible) but eternal blue will definitely be top 5 for me.
I love Spiritbox. One thing that seems unique to them (in Metalcore) are their high-pitched ambient synths in most of their songs. Those elevate their godly compositions to a new ethereal level that hits the sweet spot in my feels.
I discovered Spiritbox after their Megan Thee Stallion Cobra remix and as someone who's usually an electronic music lover who's addicted to synths, it's what made me fall in love with Spiritbox and this album especially!
As a longtime Architects fan and recently new fan of Spiritbox this is like they heard my thoughts... Can't wait to play this up and down the next few years. Heavy breakdown, amazing screams, perfect pitch, awesome instrumentals and awesome lyrics. God dammit, this is truly amazing!
The first part of the song is structured like Holy Roller, and guitars sound a bit like Volumes, but with two unique voices, Sam stepping in from about 1:00 until the end, and the electronic ambience that gives it that Spiritbox flare - such a BANGER! Love them!
Definitely one of those "lightening in a bottle" albums that's brilliant from start to finish, every track is incredible, and no part outstays it's welcome. One of, if not the, year's best.
They definitely raised the bar so high with the debut. So amazing. Courtney's harmonies, mixed with her growls, so great. If Courtney and Mike keep writing music together, then that's just awesome.

I'm in North Van so it's great to see a very local band having astounding success in this genre and with such talent. I doubt we'll see another moment like this for a BC metal band for a long long time. Off the top of my head, the only modern rock bands from B.C. that have/had decent widespread success is Hedley and Mariana's Trench. Most others that garnered more popularity tend to be from the east coast (Three Days Grace, Simple Plan, Finger Eleven).
