One of the most glorious rock n roll things I’ve ever seen.
This came out when I was in high school everyone loved it! Tickets to their first show in San Diego sold out instantly. I think this, Hey Ya by OutKast and Feel Good Inc by Gorrilaz were they only universally loved songs of those four years.

The tragedy with The Darkness is that I don't think any song other than IBIATCL is played on the radio in America (where I live). Specifically I live in Las Vegas NV and there is a good rock radio station out here but only that one song is played just now and then and ALL albums from the band ROCK!
Admittedly, I absolutely abhored this song when it first came out. Where my now ex, used to love it, so she would play it all the time. Though with her long gone and no longer in my rearview, after about 15 years of not hearing it really, whenever I do, it has kind of grown on me. I wouldnt say Im a super fan of The Darkness, though if the song comes on, I'll listen to it. Also, Justin has a really cool UA-cam channel.
I love any throwback to the good old days when MTV still meant Music Television. That era meant alot to us kids that watched good catchy music vids that weren't sad and dark, just lots of fun!

The Darkness rules! I bought their first album shortly after it was released because Rolling Stone said it sounded like Led Zeppelin meets Queen in their review. The first time I listened to it in my good friend's car we were all "wtf is this?" - we thought it was a parody but kind of cool too, and after a few listens we started to really get into it.
