- Welcome to iLogos Podcast ✌
For our very first we invited legendary game producer David Mullich, who helped such masterpieces as “The Prisoner” and “I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream” see the world.
We asked David, as someone with 40 year-long experience in gamedev
- how the industry changed over this course
- what challenges he faced during work on games that turned out to be immortal classics and where does he see the future of gaming.
🚀 Brief introduction:
David Mullich is a well-known video game designer and producer who has developed projects for Activision, Disney, Electronic Arts. He has been working in the gamedev for 40+ years. David produced DuckTales for Disney, also designed Heroes of Might and Magic III, Vampire: The Masquerade, and many others. Right now, he works as a consultant and helps people to learn game design. Once, he said, the perfect game must be easy to learn and difficult to master.

Thank you for the feedback ❤
Easy to learn, difficult to master, that's exactly how HOMM 3 is. Wow that's the core of every good game!
Thanks, that was very interesting.
We are also thrilled! Thank you so much 🥰
Strong start for a podcast, way to set the bar for future guests. Tough act to follow!
Thanks a lot! We will do our best to make all episodes interesting 😉
David, good interview. Your experiences from way back were interesting, largely similar to mine, though getting product into the hands of consumers was never an issue until retailers started the practice of MDF and hollywood-backed game companies started buying up all retail shelf space.; then things became much tougher and became a balancing act to keep your shirt on. Interviewers, nice job on the questions.
Thanks for your feedback! We are glad that you are interested in podcast topics with David. Please stay tuned for further episodes 😉
