    Well, I found my favorite instruMetal band some time ago and, surprisingly, it's the same as yours now 🙂
    Unfortunately almost noone knows about them outside a small circle, because they have barely any exposure. But things are getting better through YT lately.
    The intro for "Light in the darkness" alone is worth all the money.
    If you haven't so far, please listen to "Church". It's mindblowing.

    Yes, Hal-Ca is an absolute beast on her guitar and on stage. But so are Miyu (Ba) and Mio (Dr). They are already mind-blowing individually, but collectively they are a force of nature. I always like to say that they could give a lot of bands out there some of their talent and there would be enough left for them to be better than the rest out there. I understand your reaction and the question of why this band is not more known. Mysteries of this world... 🤔🤷🏻‍♂

    To go further, you absolutely need to check out these ones: Church, Gunfire and Stars (Live in Studio), Dawn (Live), Unravel (Instrumetal Music Video) and Rising Moon (Music Video)
    Enjoy! 😉

    Incredibly skilled trio and with many more years of great playing still to go. They did a few MV's at a Live In Studio session and it's all close-up, HD and HQ audio. The bassist does some really incredible stufff on a 7 string bass but they're all excellent. Try one of the 5 songs they recorded, like CHURCH ua-cam.com/video/pkiKSBX8JPA/v-deo.html and you'll be very impressed!

    Unbelievable ? yes they are, and you still haven't hear anything yet from their "Guernica+a" album.
    First time I found them 6 years ago with their song "Got Your Back" ua-cam.com/video/Olpnd_zKlcY/v-deo.html, at that time I too can't believe an average 15 years old kids can craft such a good composition, even at that time their soundmixing are still simple but I knew this kids are something special, and then they release "IGNITION" and then "Guernica+a", proving that I'm not wrong, I'm totally hooked.

    Well you finally got to see the elephant! The "why have I never heard of these guys before" is pretty typical, especially for those who live in the somewhat insular American bubble. To be fair it is almost criminal that three extraordinarily talented musicians such as these are playing in what one reactor described as "Babymetal's basement". Those few fans there though can count their blessings. One day they'll have to pay big bucks to see these guys play in an arena! They're almost painfully young. In this video, Hal-Ca, the lead guitarist was just 16, for heaven's sake, and the bassist was only a year older whilst his brother on drums was the old guy at 19! Can you imagine what they'll be like ten years from now? You're watching the genesis of genius. Even among the extraordinary pool of talent in the Japanese rock and metal scene these youngsters stand out.

    This awesome band toured the USA in 2019, performing at small venues. Another awesome instrumental rock band from Japan is “D_Drive” with an incredible guitar duo (Yuki, a beautiful female guitarist). They played a mini concert at USA NAMM in 2020, just before the pandemics. Btw, Miyako and Midori also performed at this event but in different booths.

    Cheezy Mate!
    Greetings on nice shiny crisp winter day which is unfortunately about to deteriorate but we have good music to forget it!
    These are still old but so good videos of what they were doing when they were respectively 16, 18 and 19 years old!
    A new and recent video is now available what they can do in front of a bigger audience at the (present ) ages of 20, 22 and 23: ua-cam.com/video/eJa146MXN60/v-deo.html (ASTERISM performed at Tokyo, Japan "After Recording" Septemcer 9, 2022, as written on their official site!)
    Real bangers for you to enjoy!
    Always looking forward to your next reaction!

      Those ages are not correct. Hal-ca and Miyu were born in the same year. Miyu in March 2002 and Hal-ca in November 2002 (both of them turned 20 last year). Mio is a couple of years older (November 1999 I believe). So there can be a year in between Hal-ca and Miyu depending on when it was recorded, but not 2 (except if the info I found is wrong).
      I believe Miyu was born on March 12th, so both of them should have still been the same age on March 2nd. Hal-ca 16, Miyu 16 and Mio 19 I believe.
      They are now 20, 20 and 23 years old.
      Edit: Their birthdates are also on their official webpage apparently.
      Hal-ca: 2002.11.23
      Miyu: 2002.03.12
      Mio: 1999.11.14

    • @MaartenT
      @MaartenT Рік тому

       @ロベルさん菜園
      Their birthdates are on their official website. It's under biography when you scroll down.
      誕生日 / anniversaire (asterism HP の バイオグラフィー ページ):
      Hal-ca: BORN ON 2002.11.23 (23 novembre , 2002)
      Miyu: BORN ON 2002.03.12 (12 mars, 2002)
      Mio: BORN ON 1999.11.14 (14 novembre, 1999)
      These songs were performed March (三月 / mars) 2nd 2019 (2019.03.02). 2019 (平成31年, 二0一九, performance 年 / année) - 2002 (平成14年, 二00二, birth 年 / année) -1 year (because both of them didn't have their birthday yet at that time of the year) -> 16. Hal-ca was 16, Miyu was 16 and Mio was 19. 難しくないですよね?
      Because both Miyu AND Hal-ca are born in 2002, they can NEVER be 2 years apart. What you typed is impossible for both their current ages as for the ages they were during this performance. You don't have the correct birthyears for them or have misread them, the info I used is off of their official webpage.
      You living in Japan doesn't have anything to do with you being able to make the correct calculations, it might be a reason why you didn't perfectly understand what I was trying to say. I'm sorry if that's the case, but try to read my comment again.
      I am all for your recommendation though, seeing a newer performance is a good idea.

      I get that, I don't think their ages are important, but I just don't like seeing incorrect information. So I was originally just correcting you on their ages nothing more. It was not my intention to troll (I'm sorry if you felt that way), but I guess I got carried away with my last reply because I was somewhat tired back then (it was 3 in the morning or so) and I was somewhat annoyed with your previous reply. I am sorry for that.
      I listen to their music as well, they are great and one of my favourite Japanese bands, let's hope they continue to grow. So all that age stuff aside, I do think your recommendation is a good one (like I said on my previous reply).
