Riverside is the best. Music, music, adult pool awesome view. Shows, bowling. Great food options. The Celebration River cruise is the best! Bullhead city across the river is the best! Try the bullhead parkway and have brunch at Laughlin Ranch bar & restaurant. It’s breathtaking! And Cocktails has a spectacular view, much and food. Bullhead Bell the same thing! Black Mountain Bisto is a cool spot . Next time ask a local person that can guide you

Wonder if the lukewarm water is a Nevada issue...I notice when I stay at the Cal in downtown Vegas, the water in the shower is just barely warm enough to take a shower...but I usually shower at night...and sometimes you can hear gurgling noises coming from the sink...
Hmmm… I wonder! The gurgling sink doesn’t sound good - weird! Other than the water issues, how are the rooms at the Cal? We’ve stayed downtown at The Plaza and Golden Nugget, not the Cal yet…Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@gamblinggrubandgetaways The Cal is really nice! Although when we were there last week there was only one working elevator for the first few days of our stay…I think the rooms are really nice and comfortable…you should give it a try!
Did you try the buffet?
We tried it for breakfast several years ago. We weren’t impressed then and haven’t been back. Have you tried it recently? We keep getting coupons for “free” buffets but have been hesitant to give it another try - even at no cost! Lol
@@gamblinggrubandgetaways no we haven’t we used to stay at Edgewater and Aquarius. I recently had some health problems so Ak Chin will be our next trip. The only re opened Buffet we have tried Recently is the one at Casino Arizona. A few years ago we went to the Garden Buffet at South Point Casino in Vegas we loved that one!
Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope you get well soon! We will probably head back to Ak-Chin this summer. We really like it, and the drive isn’t too bad for us. (Except going through Phoenix!) How was the buffet at Casino Arizona?

I've been going to Laughlin for 28 years Since the covid the riverside casino is the only casino where your going to get decent comps and if you're a slot player every casino has tighten up there machines. Just being truthful stay away from the buffet. Take advantage of all the activities Don's riverside has to offer. The celebrity theater is well worth the price. I sure hope the casinos recuperate from the covid BS and get back to normal
The Riverside does give good comps! We tried their buffet years ago and haven't been back. Based on recent reviews, it doesn't sound like it's improved. We used to really like the buffet at Harrah's - sad that Covid took that away, too! Thank you for your suggestions on things to do there - appreciate it!!!
@@gamblinggrubandgetaways yes Harrah's used to have the best buffet in Laughlin unfortunately they said they will never be getting it back 😔
