Hi, glad you liked Laughlin. I live in Bullhead City, AZ. Next time you come here try the Riverside, their Prime Rib is great. The goats are on that island to keep the vegetation down, then they go back to their farm. Years ago they had Peacocks there but when the water was low the coyotes took them out, or so I've heard. It is what it is. Middle of the desert on the river! I'm surprised at what what it is. I'm a boater. it's pretty crazy.
You were incredibly lucky with the room you got. From what I was able to tell when I was last there, this is one of only 5 rooms in that entire tower that have a balcony! The last five riverview rooms on the 26th floor. It must have been something they decided to not do for the rest of the rooms very early on in the building's development.
Fun fact, all of the rooms on the 26th floor with a balcony were all originally part of 1 large suite. The suite was built for Vlora Lafferty who owned the land the Edgewater was built on. She sold her land to the owners of circus circus for $2 million and a suite on the top floor. She passed away before the hotel was fully completed.

was there first week of January in my RV at the Riverside, I ate at the Edgewater a few times. It had the best food, the Aquarius was the best casino IMO
I recently moved back to Vegas from Laughlin after living there 4 years. Lower cost of living, a lot lower crime. I miss the very light traffic and the beautiful river! Thanks for the review!

Of course it's got a LOWER crime rate! ALL the degenerative prices of SCUM reside in VEGAS.
I love Laughlin! It's such a chill and relaxing alternative to Vegas (which I love too).

I go to Laughlin a lot but have never stayed at the Edgewater. That will change because I'm staying there for two nights in March! Thanks for the update!

Love Laughlin just saw willie there , my family refers to the edge water lovingly as “ the sludge water “ not my first choice but it’s more like camping in a room. Love it !
