I’m hesitating between iphone 13 and 13 mini, which one has good size and comfortable to put on pocket of jean ? the regular 13 is bigger but I don’t know if it’s comfortable to hold and to put on pocket ?

I bought the iPhone 13 Mini a week ago and I am really impressed with the quality of the device in terms of processor, camera and battery (in normal standard use). Excellent device with an exceptional size.
Bought mine a few days ago upgrading from the original old SE (iPhone 5). I love it. It’s everything I could have asked for in the size of phone I like. And when you upgrade from a phone as far back as my old one you really notice the differences.
I absolutely love my 13 Mini! I have since release and so happy to have replaced my 12 Pro for it. The phone almost seems big to me now, crazy how the brain can adapt very quickly to different objects size.
I bought the 13 Pro Max on Launch Day (Pre-Ordered it) and today I returned it and got the 13 Mini in exchange. Don't get me wrong, the Pro Max is a great and powerful device, but to be honest it is TOO powerful for my daily use. I rarely take any photos, no macro shots etc so I don't need the better cameras of the Pro Line. The mini sits perfectly fine in my hand, I can use it easily with one hand on the go and it's also very very light weight, much better to hold and carry around. The battery also isn't a problem for me, as I'm working in IT so I have a charger around me all the time.
Perfect phone for my usage. Will be sad to see it discontinued but good point that they might bring it back as an SE. if that’s the case I’ll be very happy.

I am definitely getting a 13 mini this year! I really like the smaller form factor and once you had the mini in your hands, you have to just love it! Plus: its battery is now even better than last years regular 12!!! ☝️
@Damian Wójcikiewicz I agree. I'm now totally over these large phones. I just ordered the 13 Mini in Product Red, after seeing my Wife use the 12 Mini for the last year. The 13 Mini seems like the perfect phone and I think I will use this for 5 years before upgrading. I don't buy a new phone each year. I'm quite interested in the Tesla phone, but I have switched to Apple from a series of Android phones over the years. In the more distant past, I was always a Nokia fan. I still have a drawer full of old Nokia phones. Many of them won't even start up anymore.

I bought it as an upgrade from my XS and love it! Screen isn’t too much smaller, phone is nice, lightweight and easy to hold. Looks beautiful. I’m not a fan of large heavy phones so this is perfect for me. Battery is great too. 5ish hours of SoT for me.
@@femke576 The chip is more powerful (the iPhone 11 Pro has the A13 Bionic, while the iPhone 13 mini has the A15 Bionic), and the cameras are better. The only downsides are that you will lose the telephoto camera and 0.4" of screen size, and the battery life is worse.
@@germanesterripa9299 Battery life isn’t that much worse. Mostly depends on what you are doing. If you are watching a lot of video content, you will have better battery endurance on 13 mini than on 11 Pro. 😉

I’ve tried to get used to the size for several days now but just can’t get into it. I love so much about the 13 pro but it just doesn’t feel as usable as my 8 did. I will be trading the 13 pro in for a 13 mini on Monday

I still grieve for my iPhone 5 - the last one to fit comfortably in my hand. I often go out without a phone now - !!*!!*!! - because my current iPhone won't fit in a pocket or is a heavy drag in any pocket I can force it into. (Yes, a woman exists who doesn't always lug a purse around. But even when I've got a handbag, the phone mostly doesn't fit in a pocket of the bag that's actually convenient to use.) I really hope Apple don't cease production of this or even downgrade it as has been suggested here. Unless, in the process they remove the notch and replace with touch ID. That's a downgrade I'd personally like because I hate the notch. Even so, a full featured (including telephoto), small phone is my preference.
Love my mini 13, I hesitated on the mini 12 last year and glad I waited, battery hasn’t been a issue yet since I do the majority of internet, UA-cam, & gaming on a iPad. I find myself always checking my pocket to make sure I have my phone, I hardly/feel, my only complaint would be the keyboard is a little small and hard to hit the right letters. Other than that I think it’s a winner!!

I decided to pull the trigger on the iPhone 13 mini over the 14 pro and I do not regret the decision one bit. Is the perfect form factor. I hope that they’ll bring it back in a pro version for the iPhone 15 because I truly believe this is the best size for everyday use. All they need to do is improve battery life and then upgrade the refresh rate to 120hz
Great vid! I completely agree on all criteria you considered for the 13 Mini review. Little backstory, I upgraded from a 12 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max as my daily driver. I also own an 11 Pro Max, which was my main phone when it came out and now I have left mainly to be used for my music streaming services (which are plenty) kind of an iPod with enhanced features and capacities, the reason behind this was basically I wanted to have a leisure device and a business device. In know it might sound redundant and unnecessary, but once home my main device goes on sleep mode and my 11 Pro Max comes alive. This year though I’m pulling the trigger on the 13 Mini replacing my 11 Pro Max as my leisure streaming device . I think the form factor, enhancements made on battery life, camera and overall performance with the A15 Bionic has made it worth upgrading to. For my purpose of use, it most certainly will. So in a nutshell your video has given me the assurance that my train of thought is on the right track. Thanks!
I have the 12 mini and still love it! I use the apple mag safe battery pack, and get through the day no problem. I am Considering getting the 13 mini since it is a step up in several areas, and that it might be the last mini. Thanks for the great review!

From Note 8 to 13 Mini Picking it up tomorrow and I can't wait. I'll still have a Samsung Tab s7+ to play with. OS support is what made me switch. Not the camera, not the gimmicks, and what have you. Simplicity and support for 5 years+.
I have just got on my iphone mini 13 having come from a pro max and absolutely love the Mini. I got it as combo with the iPad Mini 6 and find this gives me the best of both worlds - much better than trying to make a Pro Max do it all.

I purchased the red mini in 256g and it’s a fantastic phone. You will absolutely love it and this is the best shade of red on an iPhone I have ever seen. It’s really brilliant. I paired my red mini with the Apple leather MagSafe case in Wisteria and it’s really beautiful. It’s a deeper shade of purple than advertised on Apples website.
I own the apple 13 mini and I love it. The SE was my first ever iPhone so to have some of these upgraded features paired with my Apple Watch and iPad mini 2021 with cellular it’s the perfect set up.

@@noxnext That’s what I’m thinking too. The larger screen of the Mini, compared to the phone, makes it perfect for media consumption and some work tasks that are too cumbersome to do on the 12.9 pro.
After testing the 13 Pro and Pro Max for a week, they both felt like obese underachievers compared to the 13 mini. Honestly the 13 mini feels so much more impressive as a flagship in its performance and size. It’s a game changer. Streaming a movie like Pandora on Disney+ was very immersive but the loud clear sound of the stereo speakers is incredible for a phone twice it’s size. My battery life test only yielded the 13 Pro 5% more over the 13 Mini at the end of the day still leaving plenty of power left. (40% vs 35%) at the end of a full day of use.
I just buy one a week ago and I must confirm, it’s my favourite off all time, I’m size and I am amazed with the battery. I strongly recommend this iPhone. I woke up everyday by 6am and by 20 pm it’s still has 20/25%. If you really uses should last till midnight, it’s perfect
Great video as always Canoopsy! I actually upgraded from the 12 mini to the 13 mini and I feel the upgrade is worth it for the battery life alone! I’ve gone from worrying about it from about noon onwards to only worrying about it if I go out late, but I can usually top it off beforehand. It’s been a peace of mind I didn’t know I needed :)
Your review is amazing. I had a 12 Pro Max since it’s launch. Last week I was considering the 13 mini. Holding the regular 13 and mini the decision was regular 13 for my job I incorporate photos for reports and type up Inspections. My hands are big. Either iPhone is impressive.
I carry 2 phones and upgraded my 12 PM to a 13 PM. My wife has kinda short thumbs and likes a smaller phone so last year bought her a 12 Mini but she returned it because of battery life and got a 12 Pro. I bought her a 13 Mini yesterday because battery life has improved but she now thinks it is too small. I have used it for 2 days now and at first thought it was very small but am getting used to it a really like it. May keep it for my secondary device. It’s actually kind of amazing. My dad who passed away couple years ago had a white 5c a few years back and we upgraded him to an 8 and I kept the 5c just for the heck of it. I pulled it out of the drawer last night and man how far we have come. Would recommend the 13 Mini or the 13 PM. Thanks for the vid.
I love my iPhone mine! Got my phone about 3 weeks ago really like the sign and function of the phone. It’s my first iPhone but I’ve had a iPad for a few year now. I would recommend this phone.
This is the ideal size for a PHONE. The screen is the perfect size and not that many years ago would have been considered large. If you want something with a massive screen etc, just buy an iPad too.
Yes- it’s not a question of whatever anyone else is buying, it’s about what I need and want for the way I use my devices. Although I seldom use my MacBook Pro anymore, I use my iPad quite heavily (as I am doing now). My iPhone, currently an aging 6, is used for calls and the aspects of my life where I need a truly portable device….and with me that means pocket carry, no phablets, thank you. That means keeping the size of my current phone or smaller. My favorite iPhone remains the 5, and getting an iP13 Mini is a comfortable approximation to that size, with, of course, far greater performance.
Got a iPhone 13 mini which replaced my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Absolutely 👍 loving it!! One hand use with no compromise on camera etc. Battery is decent enough!! Apple is missing a trick here by discontinuing in 14 series.

Bought my iPhone 13 mini, and I use it also with my iPhone 13 promax. The pro max is bulky and heavy and cumbersome to use when you are out and about. But it does have an exceptional long battery life , if you have intentions of taking lots of pictures. Otherwise I find the 13 mini to be convenient and easy to use and carry around. I am glad I purchased one before Apple takes it off the market. Buy it now before it is too late.
I agree the mini is better especially for runners 🏃♂️, the max pro from my opinion is good for a business man who depends all day battery and other activities emailing, meetings all day but it’s so heavy. The mini fits nicely in your pocket, has great features that most people need and is cost saver ! Definitely a wise buy on my humble opinion! Great review thank you so much !
I went from a 12 Pro Max, to a pink 13 mini and I love it! Gave my son my pro max, don’t regret it at all. No problem with watching movies, video’s, etc. Works great for me, I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I just have small hands and it works good for me.
Great review, like the idea of a smaller phone but to be honest: I will go for the regular 13 pro. Benefit of the better cameras, good Batterie without additional MagSafe charger needed and as well not too big. Nice review. I moved to a 13 mini from an XR and I'm very pleased with my choice. Every other midsized or bigger phone now looks humongous to me.

I have just got on my iphone mini 13 having come from a pro max and absolutely love the Mini.
I got it as combo with the iPad Mini 6 and find this gives me the best of both worlds - much better than trying to make a Pro Max do it all.

I purchased the red mini in 256g and it’s a fantastic phone. You will absolutely love it and this is the best shade of red on an iPhone I have ever seen. It’s really brilliant. I paired my red mini with the Apple leather MagSafe case in Wisteria and it’s really beautiful. It’s a deeper shade of purple than advertised on Apples website.
I love my regular 13. The screen size is just perfect for me.

I own the apple 13 mini and I love it. The SE was my first ever iPhone so to have some of these upgraded features paired with my Apple Watch and iPad mini 2021 with cellular it’s the perfect set up.

You purchased the s21 ultra for the wrong reasons then. Those cameras put this phones cameras to shame.

Out of all the Apple/Tech review channels on UA-cam, you have the best one. Solid reviews and opinions based on real life usage of the products. Well done! I have an 11 Pro Max but considering the 13 Mini along with an iPad Mini to go with my iPad Pro 12.9. Just not sure I need another large phone, especially since I want to add the new iPad Mini to the mix.
That is the perfect mix! I will do the same this year. Upgrading from an iPhone XR to a 13 mini and planning to get the iPad mini 6 later this year for media consumption at home. ✌️😎
@@noxnext That’s what I’m thinking too. The larger screen of the Mini, compared to the phone, makes it perfect for media consumption and some work tasks that are too cumbersome to do on the 12.9 pro.
After using this for a week. I do not miss my larger phones!
After testing the 13 Pro and Pro Max for a week, they both felt like obese underachievers compared to the 13 mini. Honestly the 13 mini feels so much more impressive as a flagship in its performance and size. It’s a game changer. Streaming a movie like Pandora on Disney+ was very immersive but the loud clear sound of the stereo speakers is incredible for a phone twice it’s size. My battery life test only yielded the 13 Pro 5% more over the 13 Mini at the end of the day still leaving plenty of power left. (40% vs 35%) at the end of a full day of use.
One more paycheck and will be able to buy this phone. Soooo hyped!!!!! Can’t get regular due to being used to iPhone 7

Bro i had the mini, and if you have ever so slightly large hands its GG. Takes ages to write since you keep hitting wrong on the keyboard.
I just buy one a week ago and I must confirm, it’s my favourite off all time, I’m size and I am amazed with the battery. I strongly recommend this iPhone. I woke up everyday by 6am and by 20 pm it’s still has 20/25%. If you really uses should last till midnight, it’s perfect
How is the camera?
Great video as always Canoopsy! I actually upgraded from the 12 mini to the 13 mini and I feel the upgrade is worth it for the battery life alone! I’ve gone from worrying about it from about noon onwards to only worrying about it if I go out late, but I can usually top it off beforehand. It’s been a peace of mind I didn’t know I needed :)
That’s why I upgraded- battery, memory and the cameras alone made it worth it for me ❤️

Your review is amazing. I had a 12 Pro Max since it’s launch. Last week I was considering the 13 mini. Holding the regular 13 and mini the decision was regular 13 for my job I incorporate photos for reports and type up Inspections. My hands are big. Either iPhone is impressive.

I carry 2 phones and upgraded my 12 PM to a 13 PM. My wife has kinda short thumbs and likes a smaller phone so last year bought her a 12 Mini but she returned it because of battery life and got a 12 Pro. I bought her a 13 Mini yesterday because battery life has improved but she now thinks it is too small. I have used it for 2 days now and at first thought it was very small but am getting used to it a really like it. May keep it for my secondary device. It’s actually kind of amazing. My dad who passed away couple years ago had a white 5c a few years back and we upgraded him to an 8 and I kept the 5c just for the heck of it. I pulled it out of the drawer last night and man how far we have come. Would recommend the 13 Mini or the 13 PM. Thanks for the vid.

I love my iPhone mine! Got my phone about 3 weeks ago really like the sign and function of the phone. It’s my first iPhone but I’ve had a iPad for a few year now. I would recommend this phone.
This is the ideal size for a PHONE. The screen is the perfect size and not that many years ago would have been considered large. If you want something with a massive screen etc, just buy an iPad too.

Yes- it’s not a question of whatever anyone else is buying, it’s about what I need and want for the way I use my devices. Although I seldom use my MacBook Pro anymore, I use my iPad quite heavily (as I am doing now). My iPhone, currently an aging 6, is used for calls and the aspects of my life where I need a truly portable device….and with me that means pocket carry, no phablets, thank you. That means keeping the size of my current phone or smaller. My favorite iPhone remains the 5, and getting an iP13 Mini is a comfortable approximation to that size, with, of course, far greater performance.

Love my 13mini. I got 2 days of battery out of my 12pro and now only get 1 day from the 13 mini but the small form is worth the trade for me.
I would definitely buy an iPhone 14 pro mini. It would be the perfect phone.

Got a iPhone 13 mini which replaced my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Absolutely 👍 loving it!! One hand use with no compromise on camera etc. Battery is decent enough!! Apple is missing a trick here by discontinuing in 14 series.

Bought my iPhone 13 mini, and I use it also with my iPhone 13 promax. The pro max is bulky and heavy and cumbersome to use when you are out and about. But it does have an exceptional long battery life , if you have intentions of taking lots of pictures. Otherwise I find the 13 mini to be convenient and easy to use and carry around. I am glad I purchased one before Apple takes it off the market. Buy it now before it is too late.

I agree the mini is better especially for runners 🏃♂️, the max pro from my opinion is good for a business man who depends all day battery and other activities emailing, meetings all day but it’s so heavy. The mini fits nicely in your pocket, has great features that most people need and is cost saver ! Definitely a wise buy on my humble opinion! Great review thank you so much !
It makes me sad that this likely won’t exist for much longer. I don’t personally use mini phones but that segment of the market is so underserved.

I went from a 12 Pro Max, to a pink 13 mini and I love it! Gave my son my pro max, don’t regret it at all. No problem with watching movies, video’s, etc. Works great for me, I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I just have small hands and it works good for me.
Great review, like the idea of a smaller phone but to be honest: I will go for the regular 13 pro. Benefit of the better cameras, good Batterie without additional MagSafe charger needed and as well not too big. Was happy with the 11 pro I use right now and I guess I will enjoy the 13 pro therefore too.

Love mine !! Not for everyone but Does everything I need and more. When I throw it in my pocket it disappears and I don’t have to think about it for a change 😂 Big difference going from a note 9. Definitely recommend it.
