This is some great scratch building with a found base. I'm not a gamer, but a long-time model builder (over half a century!) I did get some Warhammer 40K kits to build, and I like the detail and imagination that goes into them. Initially, I got them as a "break" from my usual P-51's, Panzer IV's and '57 Chevys; thinking that I didn't have to worry as much about 'accuracy.' But after a bit more research, I found that W40K can be as exacting as modeling 'real' vehicles - unless you're talking about Orks, that is. I may just try something like this with all my leftover Ork bitz for a future project. Thanks for sharing this with us! 300th Like.
That looks awesome!! I'd like to do my Orky toybashes in the future, any suggestions on what type of cheaps toys or kits i could use to scratchbuild my Ork vehicles and walkers?
